We had a nice iced tea and desert. Joyce has done a nice job in her new location. I have not had any meals there yet . It is a nice place to have a cup of coffe and a big plus is outside seating

This location, new since April, used to be El Comedor. It has a nice patio with tables and chairs, plus inside seating. One goes to the counter, orders, pays, and the food is brought to you. This is a breakfast and lunch place, open 7 am - 5 pm. There are sandwiches, salads, and soups. We had the soup and... More

Over the years we have eaten at several different restaurants that have inhabited this old house. This new cafe's owners have done a nice job overhauling the place, upgrading the ambience considerably. We had a very good breakfast - I had an omelet with bacon and green chile while my wife just had the scrambled eggs and toast. I had... More

The patio here is wonderful with little nook type booths. The inside is eclectically decorated with several smaller rooms leading into each other with gives a nice sense of privacy. The menu has a lot more options that the typical cafe. The pancakes and omelets are delicious!

I love coming here to this beautiful cafe to have breakfast, lunch, coffee or for the delicious ginger peach tea! The first thing I appreciate is the friendly staff. They always welcome me and deliver food and drinks in a timely manner. The food is good- especially the soup and sandwich combos! The colors and art make this place a... More

I ate here for breakfast with a friend and enjoyed the outdoor seating they had available. The cafe inside is decorated very nicely and has quite a bit of seating. We both had the #7 Omelette and it was delicious! It included red pepper and green chile pepper along with bacon and cheese. The omelette was huge and I had... More

Confusing is the key word here. Is it a coffee bar, a gift shop or a restaurant? The menu is confused as well. Despite an assurance that every menu item was "scratch made" the lunch taco plate was bland, the tortillas greasy and for the most part tasteless. The salsa which tasted canned only helped the situation marginally.

We have been searching for a place like this for a long time since moving to Las Cruces. It was very inviting and exceptionally beautifully decorated. It was very comfortable and -especially important to me - spotlessly clean. Wonderful hospitality, variety of menu items and a huge selection of coffees. Comfortable, beautiful, relaxing with great food. We loved it and... More

My wife and I stopped by Cafe de Mesilla earlier today for lunch. Joyce, the owner, was very friendly and inviting--encouraging all of her guests to enjoy this charming and beautifully decorated little restaurant. Remarkably, all of us who were present seemed to feel quite at ease and began to speak freely to on another. The guacamole burger had a... More
