Reserved Eagle dining room, got Peppers. Had to complain twice to get moved to area we reserved. Then slow service, noisy, and filthy chandeliers. Bland presentation: food served owhite plates, without any garnishes. Salads nothing extra. Duck was excellent; lamb chops just OK. Rice pilaf resembled Chinese sticky rice. Foie gras was supposedly in mashed potatoes. Really? Bill was $101... More

Moved here 3 years ago, went to Double Eagle regularly for fine dining, but last few visits show things changing, and not for the better. New chefs menu interesting, but have had items unavailable, staff less than attentive, prices $$$ to $$$$. The bar continues to be an amazing atmosphere, good drinks, and good bartenders. Was a Must Do when... More

This place has it all Charm, outstanding food (chili reannos, tacos!!!), rich history and good staff. Do not pass through the area without a stop here. Sit in the covered courtyard with the fountain.

There is something very comforting about going to a Classic Bar, besides the alcohol of course. This is an established location that reminds me of the bar in San Fran where the Martini was created, or classic western hotel bars in Durango, Telluride, Tuscan or on the show "Hell on Wheels". Enjoy.

We had dinner here in the nice restaurant. Beautiful interior decor! Worth just seeing that. We all had steaks and they were all cooked to perfection and delicious. Our waiter was awesome (Albert). Totally worth going here. We also stopped at their bar a couple of times for drinks....the best bar to stop at in my opinion. Think old world... More

My wife and I love to eat here! The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is very nice. They have great drinks and appetizers as well. Staff is very professional.

My husband and I made reservations on Monday ( 12/1) for Friday (12/5/14) table for 6 at the Double Eagle Restaurant. When I booked my reservation I specifically asked the person that took my reservation that we wanted to be seated at the Double Eagle NOT the casual Peppers area. We were taking clients out to dinner. We get there... More

Gathered here on a Sunday, very crowded but had lovely drinks in the lounge with sofas and antiques. Didn't stay, menu was a bit pricy and it felt a bit touristy Bartender borderline rude, but a charming place altogether and the drinks were great.

I have been to double eagle many times and I have to say that the past 2 times, I have been really disappointed. The steak quality is still there. It is extremely tender, but it lacks flavor. I can possibly attribute this to the fact that my mother in law ordered her steak without seasoning, but I can not phathom... More

We lucked out being able to take advantage of Seniors rate of $40 a person. They served mimosa's included in the price. My husband opted to purchase a glass of wine. Service was very good. Biggest problem is that when we first got seated, we were not told what to do or where to go. We had never been there... More
