small town very good

We've eaten in a few quality restaurants in small towns which are unpretentious/rustic, where the wait staff isn't super professional and which are a bit quirky. At El Fidel, we really enjoyed the food (we both had one of their pasta entrees) and found them quite good. Our waitress was there when... read more

A big surprise is in store for you if you have dined and shopped elsewhere in this area. WIthout doubt this may be the finest eatery in the area if not between Santa Fe and Colorado Springs along the I-25 corridor. A good selection and good service and the presentation of the food is superb. A very good value and... More

This is my new favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. We tried the craft beers, appetizers, entrees and dessert, and all were fabulous. Our food was fresh and made to order. Waitstaff was friendly and professional and was for a very reasonable cost.

Went here for lunch with three friends. One had the lamb meatball sandwich; burnt beyond being edible; potatoes burnt as well; sent it back. Others had chicken sandwich; bread burnt. I had bagel and smoked salmon; small portion and salmon was shaved, not in whole slices. Add to this a dog in the kitchen!!!!! This is not the first time... More

I liked the food I ate here but there are aspects of this restaurant that need improvement. Upon arriving on a Saturday evening, there was no hostess so we just stood by the front door waiting to be seated by one of the wait staff and they were busy running around, promising to be right there. I asked the waitress... More

We were hoping for a good meal and we were sorely disappointed. Not only was the sandwich I had overdone, burnt, full of gristle and just plain inedible the service was terrible and when I complained about my sandwich the server offered to take it back, but we were only comped for the iced tea? She said that is all... More

We did not eat here, my family and I stopped through on our way down to Roswell. My husband and I could have found something to eat, however my children had a hard time finding something they wanted to eat. I don't want to give a bad rating because we did not eat. I sure the food was probably great,... More

Must visit place for food. Had the Lamb Burger with the butternut squash soup. Excellent food. My friend and I split the Vanilla Bean Creme Brule for dessert and both loved it as well. The waitstaff was quick and friendly. Will definitely visit here on every trip to the area.

This restaurant is a little gem in this small town. Good selection of food and staff is very accommodating. They do a lot of things table side like finishing off a creme brulee to caramelize the sugar and searing beef. Decent bar selection. The hotel, on the other hand leaves a bit to be desired. I understand that it is... More
