Nice corner spot

Funky dive.. The coffee was good, and the service was pleasant too. The prices are fair and I see myself returning.

Waitstaff are on point with the Biscuits and Gravy..The coffee is amazing, thus the wait if you go before 9am- Love the nostalgic building and you cannot beat the ambiance.

If you're in the neighborhood and need a shot of caffeine the Bean may be your place. And it's a good place to chat up the locals which can be very enjoyable and even informative. But if you want a good breakfast, you'll do better elsewhere.

This place looks really cute, and the menu was appealing. Too bad for us that at 11 am they were out of the first three things we asked for, including the day's special. Ended up with an under-baked muffin and headed into Old Mesilla for lunch.

I could smell the restroom from my table and there were flies all over. YUK It is too bad because I really liked the feel of the place.

We read the website for The Bean and the Trip Advisor reviews and decided to give it a try for breakfast since The Bean's website mentioned using locally sourced ingredients when possible and the reviews were glowing. When we arrived around 9:00 A.M., a large outside table was packed with regulars, many of them bicyclists, who obviously enjoy The Bean... More

We visit friends in Las Cruces, NM often and always choose a hotel near The Bean. It is our morning gathering spot to begin our day, lay out our plans, and enjoy some great coffee and delicious home baked goodies. The girls at The Bean always make us feel welcome. What a terrific way to start ones day.

We had breakfast 3 days in a row at The Bean. They roast their own coffee and make their own bread and pastries. It is very clean and artsy. The staff was very friendly. My husband is a coffee aficionado and he approved of the coffee! I liked their oatmeal and berries. It is in the old section called La... More

The Bean is our favorite coffee house in the Las Cruces area. Why? Because the woman who owns it and the staff who work there are a delightful group. And, they serve up terrific roasted-on-site coffee. But, the best part of The Bean is the easy, friendly vibe. It's a spot for just about everyone. The staff know many folks... More
