Best Italian food in Las Cruces

I'm Italian (half Napolitan, half Veronese) from Boston, and take Italian food seriously. At one point early in my 8 years in Las Cruces, I decided to try all the Italian restaurants in the city and see which one I thought was the best. Si Italian Bistro won. After that experiment, and since I cook... read more

This is a 5th visit to this restaurant, always a good meal. We enjoy their pizza, salad and soups for a main meal. For desert, their cream puffs are excellent. The building and location isn't anything to get excited about, however its like other restaurants in Las Cruces where appearances can be deceiving. I'd chose this over Olive Garden any... More

Every review I have read is in the excellent range. I am not quite there. The building, an old, large, stately home is beautiful. They offer musical entertainment on Thursday evenings which begins around 6:30 which is excellent because Las Cruces is an early dinner town. I am a transplant from CT where New Haven, CT is considered one of... More

Best Italian I've had in a long time. We had ravioli & pasta marinara baked with cheese.... It was delicious! We can't wait to come back!

First time here and I have to say they know how to do Italian. It rivals El Centro in Des Moines, IA; one of the best Italian restaurants in that city. My husband and I shared a bottle of great wine, the Frutti Di Mare alla Proviencial with an extra salad and were too full to try their awesome looking... More

Service was good, menu selection was great, and most people enjoyed their meal. They even customized an entree for me, which I appreciated - I wanted my chicken marsala with pasta instead of veggies. My husband also wound up having chicken marsala but he didn't care for it, said the sauce tasted burned. I did not notice that myself. Large... More

My first time here. The food was very good, especially the antipasti plate, a real treat. The ambiance is the best. Will try the pizza next time. If you are in the mood for good Italian food, don't miss this place!

Not something I would have tried just from reading the menu but the Lemon Artichoke soup was stellar! Wish I had ordered extra to take home for supper! The restaurant wasn't terribly busy so we enjoyed visiting with our waitress who was very attentive. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in Las Cruces.

We loved the Italian food. Their marinara sauce was excellent. Salads were very fresh, bread had great crust, and the olive oil was upscale quality. After having a great meal, we tried the chocolate cake. The frosting was melt in your mouth, and the cake was very moist. We will definitely eat there again before we leave.

Wife and I had to wait a bit to secure a table on a Friday night and so we were starving as we sat down. The food was decent: not great but not bad. The portion sizes were fine. However, service was poor as our waitress disappeared and we struggled to get our water refilled.
