Time for the OWNERS to step up.....

What a bipolar experience at this restaurant (on Commerce). Went in one time with a co-worker, took forever to be noticed and seated, and another eternity to have orders taken. The waitress seemed to be either sick or on a "long trip somewhere" (and shouldn't have been working in either case). The... read more

Green chile bowl is real great. Reminds one of green chile stew. Beans, chile meat and green sauce taste are out of this world.

When we first arrived the restaurant was not that busy, we were a party of six; it took about 30 min for the waitress to get over to our table to take our orders (should have been a warning sign), while we were waiting for our food it took about 5 different times to wave someone down to ask for... As we sat down, the waitress came over with windex and sprayed the table while we were seated, shouldn't this have been done before we sat!?! The Murals on the walls were so much better than the food. The chips are a one bowl only, they charge for extra. What? The salsa homemade and very good. One guest ordered Enchiladas,... More

Beware!! We eat breakfast in here every other Saturday, for several reasons - 1. It is locally owned and operated 2. It is in the "traffic pattern" of our morning routine 3. The luncheon special offered on Saturdays. Note I said luncheon special for breakfast Breakfast every other Saturday for almost two years, usually the luncheon special. Takeout a couple... More

The mexican and combination plates are always good. Never bad and never sublime. Reasonable prices. Rudy is always welcoming and helpful with ordering, if you indicate you want suggestions. Wish they had coke products instead of Pepsi so I order water. The Chile meat has too many potatoes for me. Maybe someday I'll remember to ask if they can just... More

I've now eaten twice at the Commerce location. I found the salsa watered down and the entrees pretty boring. It is not up to Las Cruces standards. The staff, on the other hand, was friendly and professional. Too bad they don't have a better product to serve.

We ate here recently without having read any previous reviews. The service was speedy but the food was far below the quality we expect in Las Cruces. I had the carne adovada plate and found the meat to be rather dry and without much flavor. My spouse had the cheese enchiladas which she also described as just fair. On the... More
