When we first arrived the restaurant was not that busy, we were a party of six; it took about 30 min for the waitress to get over to our table to take our orders (should have been a warning sign), while we were waiting for our food it took about 5 different times to wave someone down to ask for... As we sat down, the waitress came over with windex and sprayed the table while we were seated, shouldn't this have been done before we sat!?! The Murals on the walls were so much better than the food. The chips are a one bowl only, they charge for extra. What? The salsa homemade and very good. One guest ordered Enchiladas,... More

Beware!! We eat breakfast in here every other Saturday, for several reasons - 1. It is locally owned and operated 2. It is in the "traffic pattern" of our morning routine 3. The luncheon special offered on Saturdays. Note I said luncheon special for breakfast Breakfast every other Saturday for almost two years, usually the luncheon special. Takeout a couple... More

The mexican and combination plates are always good. Never bad and never sublime. Reasonable prices. Rudy is always welcoming and helpful with ordering, if you indicate you want suggestions. Wish they had coke products instead of Pepsi so I order water. The Chile meat has too many potatoes for me. Maybe someday I'll remember to ask if they can just... More

I've now eaten twice at the Commerce location. I found the salsa watered down and the entrees pretty boring. It is not up to Las Cruces standards. The staff, on the other hand, was friendly and professional. Too bad they don't have a better product to serve.

We ate here recently without having read any previous reviews. The service was speedy but the food was far below the quality we expect in Las Cruces. I had the carne adovada plate and found the meat to be rather dry and without much flavor. My spouse had the cheese enchiladas which she also described as just fair. On the... More

The chicken made us all sick later we find out they shut down the restaurant, because another family got sick as well from the same thing. Do not recommend this restaurant at all!

We are pretty sure that the refried beans served were the cause of 3 members of our party getting sick. The only thing in common between the folks who got sick was the refried beans. Normally this place had really good food. The salsa and chips served at the beginning of the meal was tremendously hot and not enjoyable. FYI... More
