I checked Tripadvisor for a place to eat in Las Cruces recently. We picked La Casita because of the reviews-which were right on. It's a smallish place about a 10 minute drive from our hotel-easy to find in a quiet, historic neighborhood. The service from Yoli was friendly and perfect! She was a delight. The food was also very good... More

This restaurant is in the older part of Las Cruces on Mesquite street. Without a doubt the best service and food quality in Las Cruces and possibly the state of New Mexico. We truly enjoy the interior décor and the location. It is fairly priced for the quality. It is a jewel in the desert.

We visited La Casita Cafe after seeing it was a top rated restaurant in Las Cruces on Tripadvisor. Great food and friendly service from Luis made us feel like we were getting a home cooked New Mex meal.

This is not on the main highway, but worth it to adventure thru town to find it. Outside may look a little intimidating to some, but inside is very inviting. Luis was a very nice server. Good pace of service. Food was good, but dinner choices were somewhat limited. About 8 combination plates to choose from. I had the Licha... More

Best to call on star to fine the place, but worth the time. We both had a great breakfast with a great server. We can't wait to go back for lunch.

Was in Las Cruces, NM. Pulled up places to have a light lunch. Decided on this place, saw the positive ratings. Ordered their turkey sandwich. Their service and food was very good, will stop in again when in town.

After several recommendations, I tried this restaurant yesterday. The food was not even good, and the service was very slow. Yes, the chips and salsa were very good. I am really surprised at my experience compared to others. I will definitely give it another try.
