I live in Deming and found the La Casita on the web and drove over to give it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised! This was the first restaurant that I've eaten in that I felt I got full value for my money. As we have no good places to eat in Deming, this will be my "home away... More

Ate here last year and it was very good. It was clean too. The customer service was pretty good as well. I had the sampler, I believe?!?! Whatever it was, it was good.

My hubby and I were looking for a quaint little place to eat on our way to Santa Fe from El Paso so we of course checked TripAdvisor's list of best restaurants. We decided that we didn't want to pay too much and Mexican sounded good so we went here and we're really glad we did! The waitress was very... More

This small, out-of-the-way place is very colourful on the outside but a bit on the primitive side inside. We went there because it got such good reviews but I was a bit concerned. Furniture was old and rickety, not much in the way of decor ... and there's no liquor! When the food arrived tho ... it all became clear... More

Passing through Las Cruces on I10 and opened the mobile Tripadvisor app and found La Casita- what a jewel! The service was excellent and the food was very tasty. I had the special pork enchiladas with verde sauce and my wife raved about the crispy chicken tacos. It is two miles off of the interstate in the barrios, but we... More

Try the enchiladas with green sauce! Their salsa and queso both have great, rich flavor. A small, mom and pop place. May be sketchy at night? They feed you too much food. Awesome service, eager to please customers.

Based on TripAdvisor reviews, my wife and I had Sunday breakfast at La Nueva Casita Cafe last week, and very much enjoyed it. Service was really on the ball - friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and was definitely the kind of thing we were looking for - solid, down-home southern New Mexico fare, with more flavor than we... More

We are driving coast to coast and stopped for dinner after reading reviews and were very pleased. Funky, comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The food is delicious and very fresh. My Dad, an enchilada fanatic, tried the chicken enchilada plate. It was generous, nicely spiced and the rice was wonderful. The chicken fajita salad was good -the chicken had a light... More

Looked forward to eating here after reading the great reviews - while driving through we tried calling - got busy signals until we were close and then learned it wasn't open for dinner..... hmmmm....

The food is fantastic. The place is very small and sure gets crowded. But the locals love it for the food.
