My daughter and I walked into Las Casita Cafe around 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon beyond hungry. I had found this cafe thorough TripAdvisor and I am glad I did. There aren't that many local restaurants open on Sunday's in Las Cruces. We were seated immediately and our server brought out chips and salsa. The salsa was quite tasty with... More

I was craving huevos rancheros (NM Style)! This restaurant did not disappoint. This place is very NM and in an old neighborhood that really gives you a feel of what NM is all about. The service was excellent and the food was authentic and tasty. The corn tortillas were fried to perfection, the green chili was on point and the... More

This was my first experience tasting New Mexico cuisine and it didn't disappoint! Restaurant is charming, clean and the waitress was so friendly. I ordered the smothered bean and cheese burrito with verde sauce. My husband had scrambled eggs with chorizo. Everything was delicious and we would definitely come back. We highly recommend this restaurant!

I live in Alamogordo and my parents wanted a good Mexican restaurant and found La Casita. We got seated quickly despite it being a full house. My parents ordered Menudo and said it is THE best and they are so hard to please. I was happy to see they offer fideo (though they were out) and chocoflan, which is impossible... More

My husband and I went here after we decided that we needed to try some place new in Cruces. The food was really good and had so many unique sides. The service was awesome, as well. We will be back.

was in the mood for a ground beef burrito. went here on recommendation from hotel staff. Awesome. Burrito made to order. Nice, efficient waitress. Local atmosphere. Easy parking, cheap. Felt like the corner cafe from home - loved it.

This is yet another fantastic, popular, neighborhood Mexican cafe with wonderful food. Located in fact right smack in the middle of a well kept Mexican neighborhood. Located on Mesquite Street, a site of the original trail of the Camino Real. Clean and fast service. Great and inexpensive eats. At 10am we had breakfast, starting with excellent coffee. My wife had... More

Had lunch at La Nueva Casita in Las Cruces, listed on TA as ‘La Casita’. Had the tacos estrellas (three soft corn tortilla tacos with a special blend of shredded beef and pork, essentially carnitas) with refried beans and fideo. Other choices for sides were borracho beans (whole beans) or rice. This was served with sour cream, guacamole and pico.... More

The food was really good with a reasonable price. The place was very nice, decorated with beautiful pictures. Very nice staff, Luis. I met new friends in there and that made this night awesome.

Our waiter was very attentive, and personable. Enjoyed the salsa bar. Food was good, and waiter made great suggestions based on tolerance for spice.
