Always fresh and tasty, authentic and friendly. Green chile is very good, and that's the most important thing in a New Mexican restaurant.

This is one of my personal favorites. I don't give it five stars because it is a small place and often crowded so service can be spotty however. I really like the people who work there. The food is plentiful and flavorful with authentic New Mexican taste. The menu is limited which is a good thing because you are not... More

...inside a very small foyer area where you will be in the way of the waitstaff. Only open for lunch, and VERY popular. Great chile, but hot. Huge portions for a great price. Service is a little slow, but that's just because they are so busy. You can still get in and in about an hour.

Excellent Spanish food green chili was the best, The sopaipilla with honey was great, the salsa was hot just the way I like it. Had a Green chili chicken enchilada with a fried egg on top, side of rice the best. I always make a stop at Nellies when in Las Cruces!

This little Mexican restaurant is indeed worth the wait. They are usually very busy and you may have to wait for a table, but it is certainly worth the wait time. You won't find food like this at any other restaurant. Service is a little slow but the food is great and the prices are reasonable. This is a must... More

Food was great! If you like liver, don't miss on their house special "Liver with onion", and ask to add jalapenos to it.

Had lunch there, ordered bean &chicharron burrito, partner had breakfast burrito, both were hot and tasty. Sopapillas for dessert were delicious. Reasonable prices, good service. We will return.

We just ate delicious lunch for $13.71 +tip! water and chips ! Went right in but by 1130 a line had formed. Be careful to enter street side because sign Tuesday -Saturday 8-2 is above kitchen door! order only one sopapilla and one tostada for 2 to split.

This cafe style family owned & operated restaurant is a gem. My meal was totally satisfying. Best green chile I've had probably...ever. No exaggeration.
