Solid breakfast

Cute location, good food, MVK was recommended to us by a friend. We had pancake breakfasts but I have a feeling chili is their specialty. The breakfast burritos looked so good!

We ordered at the the counter, then sat down for the food to be delivered. The salsa & chips were good - but the chips were potato rather than tortilla. Salsa had good flavor but also had some bite. My green chile stew was more of a soup, and my wife enjoyed her cheese quesadilla. Waiter was attentive in refilling... More

The absolute best place for breakfast. A large selection of Mexican and American breakfasts with a very friendly staff. They also specialize in "special orders". They have been in business for years and they only seem to get better, But they are so popular (especially on Sunday mornings) you should be prepared to wait in line. They are also open... More

Have gone here for years and just realized I never reviewed it. It's truly the best breakfast in Las Cruces – especially for breakfast burritos and other Southwest specialties. Friendly staff, friendly atmosphere – just a great place. Don't miss it.

The space is pretty cramped. It wasn't a long wait for food or anything but you definitely felt you were on top of other people. I had the spuds whatever breakfast and I highly recommend the red chile. It was probably the best red chile I have had out EVER. It was delicious, even reheated. I'd definitely do take out... More

Breakfast heaven. Good ordering system- you read a menu on the wall as you enter. Then order and pay at the counter. Go sit down and they bring it to your table. The food was terrific. Excellent service. Perfect for a quick and satisfying breakfast. I would recommend this to anyone who eats.

While I previously found this place to be an acceptable alternative to cooking, yesterday's experience has convinced me never to go back. I ordered huevos rancheros, eggs over hard. Over halfway into my meal, which was underwhelming taste-wise, I discovered about 2 tablespoons worth of uncooked egg white. I brought this to the attention of an employee, who apologized but... But I'll keep typing anyway. Really, potato chips? Dark brown chips, with salsa? This place used to be so different, then it expanded about 20 years ago and went downnnnn. It's friendly in terms of staff, but the other diners are kind of cr*ppy - hog tables, run in and "claim" tables, messy, etc. Entitled, in other words. The food... More

I love their Mesilla Valley Spuds with scrambled eggs and green chile. The Breakfast Burrito with green chile is my second favorite. My granddaughters love their pancakes. A perfect way to start any morning 😄😄

We gave this restaurant two chances for breakfast/brunch. It disappointed us both times. First was mainly due to our seating location near the kitchen activity. The wait staff seemed unaware that customers were in the vicinity. You'd have thought our service would have been good in that location, but NOT. The second time we both ordered the breakfast special of... More
