Never disappointed here, good Asian fare, portions are a good size, not too large as many Asian restaurants serve.

We were all excited on a recent trip to southern NM (and even went two hours out of our way) to visit this restaurant that is written up in the guidebooks as offering floating sushi boats like we love from Japantown in SFO. We should have stuck to our rule to NEVER eat sushi in small towns, especially where there... More

Found this place on TripAdvisor. Good choice overall. The California Rolls were very good but the wasabi was a little weak and we had added too much soy sauce to it. Should have tried it first. The miso soup was quite nice, as was the egg drop soup. The chicken gow gee dumplings were perfect. We had the ahi salad... More

The food was delicious. We all had a great time. Started out with the crab salad the cucumber was still firm and crisp even marinated in their dressing. Others had various sushi and stated the fish was fresh great spices. The Bulgogi Beef , lemon pepper shrimp, and satays were fantastic. The services was good, the atmosphere was just as... More

Cosy atmosphere, excellent service, and artfully presented food are what you can look forward to at Aqua Reef. The food is delicious. We have eaten fish, sushi, food in bento boxes, and Ahi tuna. It is fun to try new dishes each time we visit. You can't go wrong. It's one of our Las Cruces Favorites!

Decent Japanese fare. It's a small place, but nice. Service was good. Hatch chili tempura was a nice twist on a New Mexico staple. Spicy shimp miso was very good and almost a meal by itself. Disappointed that they served chinese long grain rice instead of the more traditional short grain sticky rice.

This restaurant was really good; I had a couple of sushi rolls that were amazing and an order of seared Ahi that was also really good. It was not busy when I was there but it is not a large restaurant so I could see how it could easily fill up quickly. Service was also spot on.

We tried this because online it said they had dim sum. They only had 4-5 choices, so I don't consider that dim sum. Overall, it is pretty good. My husband liked his bento box and my teenagers liked the pad thai. I tried the rice paper salmon. It's one of those fancy dishes you might see on TV, but I... More
