This place looks like nothing from the outside, but the unique decor, friendly service and delicious food make the inside a place you want to return to again and again. Breakfast is a slam dunk here! Well done!

A true hidden gem, The Shed offers something for the entire family. Brightly painted walls, aquatic decor, excellent food and prompt, friendly service are just the appetizer to your experience at The Shed. They offer a wide variety of brunch and dinner options, flavored coffee, delicious pastries, indoor and outdoor dining, as well as a selection of alcoholic beverages. If... More

Whenever visiting Las Cruces, we try to eat as much New Mexican cuisine as possible. After lunches at all of the usual suspects, we were looking for something different and tried The Shed for breakfast. Our family of six each ordered something different and were all delighted with our selections. I had the breakfast enchiladas with brisket and green chili... More

We took reviewers advice and went to The Shed. At home we have a very favorite breakfast place and The Shed is a cut above. We enjoyed it enough to return the next morning. The décor is very colorful. It is a bit of an underwater/Caribbean theme with brightly colored walls. The first morning my wife had Breakfast Enchiladas with... More

If there is a line--wait! it is worth it. The colorful, eclectic decor (and patio seating) are a fun backdrop to excellent eating. Combine traditional breakfast items with a New Mexico flair. The green chili hollandaise sparks up eggs benedict and there is a spicier Mexican hollandaise that can go an anything. Have a cranberry mimosa and prepare to be... More

We were sent to The Shed from the Toyota dealership across the street while our car was being serviced during a road trip. WE agreed that we wouldn't have eaten at The Shed from looking at the exterior. However, the interior is colorful and the food was great. The marinara on the pizza was the BEST I have ever eaten,... The Shed is just an awesome little place! Wonderful breakfasts and lunches. We always order the gigantic breakfast burrito, delicious posole, and delightful spinach quiche with salad. Portions are large and prices very affordable. We used to live in Las Cruces and this place is about the only thing we miss! This is not a tourist trap but is frequented... More

We went as a family and the fact that there were 7 of us didn't phase them a bit. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio. Our waitress was fun and helpful with menu selections. I especially loved the french toast and my daughter was enchanted by the children's fruit plate. There were other bakery selections that looked amazing but... More

Service a little off, but worth the wait (they were busy) and food was really delicious. Too hot on outside patio, need more shad/misters?

My wife and I recently ate breakfast at The Shed. The service was very friendly but on the slow side. The selection of traditional American breakfast items was limited and this food was not very tasty. On the other hand, there was a wide and very creative selection of Mexican breakfast dishes such as huevos rancheros and chorizo with scrambled... More
