A Cruces Gem

Not fancy-an industrial sort of outside and an interior filled with whimsy- but very worth the stop. We both had the turkey burger special, one with fresh fruit salad which was great and one house salad with blue cheese which was substantial and very fresh. The turkey patties--2 per bun--were great... read more

Las Cruces is the kind of culinary destination that troubles the waters so to speak. Amazing recipes and food concepts come and intermingle with the lowest possible grade of ingredients. If you are into great food Las Cruces is a great place to inspire you but not to feed you. However, The Shed's owner uses great ingredients and has the... More

Red chile enchiladas were delicious! The chile was just like moms and had such a good flavor. The beans and rice were very good also, I finished everything on the plate, and I usually leave the rice and beans. Neat atmosphere also. I look forward to trying other menu items.

I hadn't been to the Shed for 2 0r 3 years. Our daughter-in-law hosted a meal and party last week at the Shed for the 50th Anniversary of her parents and I found we would not wait so long before our next visit. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was terrific.

We enjoyed breakfast here, the blueberry oatmeal pancake was huge (glad I only ordered one) and delicious, I also had a side of bacon with that was very good. They actually serve real butter too. My husband had the steak fingers with chile con queso that came with eggs and potatoes. He said it was the best chile con queso... More

definitely best breakfast place in Las Cruces for the food. this place is better than LA nueva casita which is rated as the number one restaurant in Las Cruces. the only thing is it's just a little pricier than casita and you have to wait 15-20 minutes to sit down on the weekends. You never have to wait at la... More

We went for Sunday brunch but went early and got right in. I had the eggs Benedict with brisket and he had the oatmeal French toast with Brie. Both meals were excellent, definitely not too salty. The only bad thing was the coffee tasted burnt.

Got there early on a Saturday morning and waited maybe 10 minutes for a table. While we waited, we talked to locals who raved about the place. They said they have never ordered anything that wasn't great. We ordered our breakfasts and it was absolutely fabulous. The bread was homemade and fresh, so delicious. The waitstaff was very friendly. In... More

Sunday,s there is always a line waiting to be seated at this bustling and friendly eatery. but, the food is too salty for my wife and I's taste. Apparently, few others agree with us.
