The staff was friendly, but the food was just ok. It seemed to be poker night, so it was fun to watch the townspeople gather for some fun.

Delicious chili rellenos, good service, cute old bar/restaurant. We had a good time checking out all the stuff on the walls.

Our friends really like this place. It was interesting!!! 1. Plan to see lots of wild life trophies on the walls – so be aware if you have kids or adults that freak at that stuff. There is plenty to look at 2. The feel is like an old time saloon with a very causal & relaxed atmosphere with bar-food... More

The food was good, but the place was busy and service a little slow. The green chile was really good.

We were introduced to this place by a local who described it, very accurately, as an old time bar and grill. It's one of very few places to eat on the route that includes the breathtaking Jemez loop. The place is kind of dark and funky -- looks like John Wayne will come sauntering through the door at any moment.... More

The service was somewhat questionable, so if you're in a rush, this is not the place for you. But the atmosphere is solid, if you like the local bar feel. I had a green chili burger (my first in NM). The burger was thin and seems like is only served medium (difficult to alter the temperature when yo are dealing... More

If you find yourself traveling through Jemez Springs, New Mexico on State Route 4, make sure you stop for a delightful meal at Los Ojos. It's been there for more than fifty years, and the food is still some of the best in the state. Portions are large, so be prepared to leave very full!

Los Ojos is quirky to say the least. I think of it as a biker bar but the food never disappoints. The buffalo burger and the chicken burrito is at the top of my list of favorite foods. Medium priced.
