Our son lived in Albuquerque for several years and we visited him and vacationed in Jemez Springs area several times when he was there- and we love Los Ojos! It’s simply part of what we do in New Mexico and one of the reasons why we go to New Mexico. We visited in December, meeting our son there [who now... More

A bit run down and in need of a cleaning, the rusty guns and dusty animal heads are just waiting to drop cob webs on your plate. The food, ok. Vegetarian C- locals drink a lot and seem to go unchecked on the weekends. If you haven't been here before, stop for a beer, do not expect a stellar meal,... More

Came here with a group of twelve hungry adults. We split into tables of six in front of the fire place. One gut waited on both tables and did a reasonable job. Good chips and home made salsa. While I ordered a burrito, I received a chicken enchilada which I thoroughly enjoyed. Warning,, the salsa and chips were addictive and... More

We had a late lunch there and were very happy they were open! We thought the food was very good. The salsa was very tasty. There was a lot of food, and we probably could have shared an entrée.

A lot of locals like to drink here but I have never been too impressed with food or service. The place is dark and feels like a bar for people who drink day and night. There is a patio though. Expect to be looked at like an outsider when you walk in.

You will be transported-everybody stops here-bikers, tourists, locals. This place never disappoints. We have eaten here for 20 years, brought our "out of towners", and family-every body loves the atmosphere

If you're looking for a real old time cowboy feel this is the place to go. Food is basic New Mexican/American fare. Service is excellent and very friendly. Owners usually on the premises to meet and greet guests. Local patrons very welcoming and friendly also.

Though I'm not a hunter, and despise trophy hunting, one cannot help but be impressed by the numerous animals hanging on the saloon's walls. It seems that in this environment they fit quite well. The visitor can travel back to the old mining days, when the saloon was the social center of town. If you are lucky to go there... More

Rustic tavern feel. Live music. Great green chile sauce. Really the only restaurant in Jemez. The bar was closed the day we were there, but looked like a good selection
