Stopped here as part of a day trip to Bandelier National Monument, with stops along the Jemez Mountain Scenic drive. Wonderful time sitting under the trees watching dozens of hummingbirds at the feeders. Place has a great friendly, local vibe. Food is good mix of New Mexico fare with other items like fish tacos and burgers. We had lunch, but... More

Stage Stop has a great menu that has something for everyone, and it's vegetarian and vegan-friendly. When I asked for substitutions on the black bean chipotle burger (no roll, a salad instead), they gladly gave me a few choices, no complaints. The waitresses are very friendly and helpful. The patio is a beautiful spot to spend time and the music... More

A trip to the beautiful Jemez topped off by the yummiest pancakes! I never knew that a blue corn pancake could be so fluffy! Fresh ground coffee and signature Blue corn blueberry pancakes served with a smile. And Gene Autry to boot. This is the way to start the weekend before a hike in the Jemez!

Me and my family stopped for some lunch after a day of hiking. After about 10 minutes a waitress came to our table and told us there would be a wait, which I said was okay. About 5 minutes later I went to the counter to ask for water. While I waited, the waitress was getting two cups of water... More

I think the food might have been good? But I'll never know. The food smelled OK, but only saw a couple people get food. My family left after waiting over an 1 hour, only to get a coke. I did not have the endurance to make it to the food. I had to get our menus since no one came... More

My family stopped at 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon. They were busy, but not overly so. We seated ourselves on the patio and one of the two waitresses acknowledged our presence. After about 15 minutes, my husband went inside and got drinks for us from a cooler. He also picked up some menus while he was inside. Our orders were... More

We stopped in there on Sunday for lunch. It's seat-yourselves, but it still took a long time for our existence to be acknowledged. It also took a loooong time for our burgers to show up. We weren't the only ones there, but they weren't slammed, either. I'd rate the burgers as slightly above average, and the pie is pretty good.... More

The location and atmosphere are great, but the food was only ok. Sandwich was mediocre. I did enjoy the old westerns on the tv.

Everything is made by hand including the red and green pico that come with the chips and salsa, which by the way are excellent as well. The patio is perfect for enjoying your time there, so don't be in a hurry. Best burger I've had in ages. The folks working there (not sure if they are the owners) could NOT... More
