Roosters and Chickens and Goats, Oh My!

I had the grilled cheese with artichokes, spinach and mushrooms. It was wonderful! The first bite was hot and gooey, and tasted so good! The place itself looks like a dive, but the food and service were beyond compare. We sat on the deck which allowed us to be entertained by the roosters, chickens... read more

We stopped here after visiting the Jemez Historic Site. The food was excellent and the server was very attentive and friendly. Not that we will be in the vicinity very often, but if we are by that way again, we will stop at Jemez Stage Stop.

Oh - the PIE makes me cry remembering. Lovely service from great folks. Chicken salad was wonderful on the sunny patio looking at the canyon walls. Good wine. Better than los ojos across the street.

The food here really is pretty good. I would recommend eating here if there are plenty of parking spaces nearby. Hopefully this would be an indication that you will get your food in a reasonable amount of time. We have been here twice during the 26 mile yard sale event (2014, 2015) which is probably as busy as it gets... More

We stopped by on a wonderful fall afternoon for a Sunday lunch on the patio. There was a small group playing great music - it was the perfect setting. We ordered sandwich's and waited and waited and waited. They weren't that busy, but after over an hour we asked about our food and was told it would be right out.... More

Went to Jemez Stage Stop for breakfast with my family. They had a western movie playing that really added to the whole experience. The food was delicious and the service was great.

We stopped to eat here for a late lunch/early dinner. I ordered their grilled cheese sandwich which was artichoke hearts, spinach, mushrooms, and provolone cheese on focaccia. Yummy. My side order was French fries. The waitress was very friendly, service was excellent, and it was obvious they cook to order. We ate outside where there are many tables and there... More

Dinner was tasty and very reasonable. Service was very good, but the pie that we took to go was excellent. Tender flaky crust, fruity not-too-sweet filling. It made a great treat the next day.
