My husband and I went to this restaurant based on the reviews. The menu is very out of date here on the website and the prices were higher (naturally). Some of the items on the old menu were not available now BUT the service was great and the fajitas were superb. I love the guacamole too. We will always go... More

I was born in Hobbs and Have lived here most of my life and we all know that La Fiesta is really a restaraunt for Gringos because the meat in all the dishes is lackluster without much spices other than a little chili powder and salt. It is however, a nice looking place inside and is a little more formal... More

Two colleagues and I went there for dinner. None of us ordered the same thing and none of us enjoyed our meal. Service was lackluster and the server had no warmth at all. It felt as if our being there was an imposition. I ordered a combination that included a stuffed green chili. It and the other items were pretty... More

I wasn't impressed with the food. I had mixed feelings about my chicken and green chiles dish, primarily because the chicken breast was not that big and 75% of my plate was refried beans. The spanish rice was white rice and cheese covered everything. I didn't eat everything (even though I was still hungry) because I didn't feel like eating... More

Wandered down the road for a Mexican fix to La Fiesta in Hobbs, NM. This place has generally good reviews elsewhere and I was cautiously optimistic. What I found was a clean well-lit place with excellent service. Any place where the staff trundles out with cupcakes topped with lit candles and sings "Happy Birthday" in both English and Spanish can't... More

The food is great from the chips and green salsa up to the cheese enchilada, rice and beans. It's like dining at somebody's house. Very nice people-- helped us to build a combination of food both of us liked (two vegetarians...). A lot of food, very rich in taste and the price is low. Would go there every week only... More

Sometimes on the road, I just gotta have some Mexican food so I stopped in here. Anytime I go somewhere new, I always stick with my favorite: beef enchiladas with a red sauce. I ended up with three enchiladas with plenty of ground beef in each. The plate came very hot which is very important to me in Mexican food... More

The title says it all but after a very long day on the road I was ready for some comfort food and this hit the spot. I find it odd that there is very little good Mexican food in the entire state - its either glitzed out Santa Fe style, or completely home cooking. Nothing like Mexican food you find... More
