I think some reviewers might cut Jerry's some slack. Gallup is a fairly gritty railroad town trying its best to stay on the map. You can't go there with Santa Fe dining expectations. Agreed: you can barely turn around in the bathroom at Jerry's (so tight it's almost funny). But otherwise, it's the perfect choice if you're looking for the... More

I visited based on the suggestion from Sunset Magazine. What a disaster! The food is below average Mexican, worse than you would eat at fast food joint. The place is run down and dismal. Felt sickly afterwards. Definitely would avoid .

We stopped for dinner. This is a local restaurant. SW New Mexico and American cuisine. I ordered the pork tamales. They were good with refried beans, rice and lettuce. Homemade tamales for certain. My partner had chicken taquitos. Also good. They do not have a liquor license. This is a diner, close atmosphere. Nothing fancy. Plain, down home.

Went in for a late breakfast and it was crowded. The staff made me feel immediately welcome, and provided quick service. I had a breakfast burrito with outstanding green chile! Highly recommend a stop here!

Authentic, super friendly and delicious. All around great experience. Try the chile relleno con juevos.

Stopped a delivery driver on the street and asked for a breakfast recommendation. He suggested Jerry's and we are glad we listened. Obviously a local favorite, the place was packed on a Wednesday morning but we got seated in minutes. The food was delicious and plentiful and the service was prompt, quite an accomplishment in such tight quarters.

We ate here based on hotel recommendation. My husband and I lived in Albuquerque for 8 years but moved away 10 years ago. We brought the kids to the Four Corners area on a trip and this was our first time in Gallup. The red and green chile was flavorful but not too hot so the kids were able to... More

We had lunch.I had a chicken enchilada. It had a bright orange cheese on the top not sure what kind it was. It tasted okay, but was not very good. The guacamole was not made there. It was just okay.to get to the restroom you have to go through the kitchen. Once I was in the restroom the air freshener was so... More

The line out the door was a hint that this might be a good place. We got in fairly quickly since there were only 2 of us. I am originally from this part of the country so I had an idea of what to expect: really good food, friendly servers and an interesting mix of locals and travelers. If you... More

We were checking out the shops in Gallup and I ask the mailman for a locals place for breakfast and Jerry's was the recommendation. We ordered the egg, potatoe and ham burrito to split. She brought 2 plates covered so I thought she had ordered us one each but not so it was just that big halved. A lot of... More
