Great food at a hole in the wall place with friendly, fun locals!

We happened on this place while our truck was being repaired in Gallup. Turns out this area on Coal Ave next to Hwy 66 is a great place to spend a night in a cheap but clean comfy hotel, and walk to an excellent restaurant. The food at Jerry's was so good we ate dinner there and went back for... read more

Had the pleasure of having a very good and unique Mexican American meal. I had the Big A Burger - hamburger/two types of cheese in a grilled tortilla with great spicy salsa. My wife had Indian Fry Bread with beans and hamburger and cheese - terrific!! Great service, wonderful waitress. Very unique menu and truly is Mexican-American combo meals. A... More

Consistent food at this longtime establishment. Servings are large and quickly served in this small yet always busy cafe. A

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. We looked to be the only "tourists." Families enjoying a Friday night meal. Just the right amount of spice so the favors come through. Nice,

first time through northern new mexico... very disappointing after reading all the positive reviews. I had bowl of red chile... there no meat, onions, garlic, salt or pepper in the dish... it was basically just a bowl of bland chile sauce, which is the type you pour over an enchilada. I also had a beef enchilada... again, where is the... More

We had chips and salsa, chicken enchilas and cheese enchilas. Everything was great. Salsa was spicy and gtreat. Would definitely eat there again if ever in the area.

I eat at Jerry's everytime I am in Gallup. The stuffed sopipia is great glob of the southwest! Seasoned hamburger, guacamole (I order mine with no beans) smoothered in cheese and green chile. The staff is really friendly and most days local Siler smith's and beadworkers come thru selling their handmade items. If you go at noon you may have... More

I want to go back and try everything on the menu. This place was crowded at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Does that tell you anything?

Breakfast was barely average. Hash browns were warmed frozen, barely browned. Eggs as ordered, but appeared to be thrown on the plate. Presentation needs to be worked on.

Good food, well prepared. A little expensive. Breakfast for two was almost $30. Would have thought 20 more reasonable for two basic breakfasts and two coffees.
