Good Mexican fare at a reasonable price. Fried bread with honey complimented my chili rellenos, rice and beans. Wife had the combo plate with beef, we left with a doggy bag. More food than one should eat at lunch. The 2 passes by patrons trying to sell their local made jewelry was a unneeded distraction. It seemed to be a... More

Arriving just minutes before they closed, we were still warmly welcomed. The food was excellent, our waiter was friendly, and the service was speedy. This was the perfect stop not far off the highway on our journey from Arizona to Albuquerque. If I'm ever in Gallup again, I will definitely return.

This place was great. Service was very friendly the waitress made us feel at home. It could not have taken more than 10 minutes to get our food and it was hot and fresh. New Mexico Mexican food although different than California Mexican food was very delicious i will be back. The food was not bland at all very flavorful... More

Don't let first impression fool you. My husband thought I was kidding when I said we were eating here. Let's just say first impression is not great, but once you go in it is well-lit and welcoming. It's a true diner and it's old, but also has the nostalgic, Route 66 feel to it. The waitress was all smiles, very... More

Great place in Gallup for excellent home style Mexican food. Good value and selection. I had an enchilada and a tamale and my wife had the taquitos - all were very good. Jerry's is a small place and all of the seating was in booths. You'll have a local come to your table every couple minutes peddling their goods. Their... More

It's amazing Jerry's has gotten such high ratings. Must be people that don't get exposed to really good authentic Mexican food. We ate there last week based on the Trip Advisor rating. Lots of locals there but most were eating hamburgers. The service was very fast--less than 8 minutes from order to table. That was a good tip off. Everything was... More

Passing through and decided to try it. Was not disappointed. Decor is similar to a basic diner. However...Waitstaff was superb, salsa delicious, and the meals were very satisfying. Would definitely go again!

We had heard so much about this restaurant and were terribly disappointed. Tremendously over-hyped. Least interesting red and green chili. Flies were a terrible nuisance.

I have been to Jerry's a few times and have never been disappointed. Try the Rib Eye Steak smothered in Green Chili. It may sound strange but it was incredible. If I could make green chili like that I would eat it 5 nights a week! Enchilatas (flat) are great also. The place is always packed even on weeknights, so... More

We had a couple options for lunch but after reading some reviews we chose Jerry's Cafe & we weren't disappointed! My husband had Jerry's Special, a high quality hamburger steak with your choice of green or red chile sauce, he loved it! I had Mexican Pizza, Navajo fry bread with meat, cheese, guacamole, lettuce & tomato again with choice of... More
