Great salsa! Large portions of good food. Obviously a locals place, but welcoming tourists. Even 10:00 am is busy. A "do not disturb" can be displayed if you don't want the trinket sellers to bring their wares to your table. A great memory of Gallup.

We traveled all around Az and into Nm and I swear I think this place may have been the best food we ate on the whole trip. Small town, crowded, not in any way fancy. Friendly and delicious, also sympathetic to the poverty in the region so be prepared to be approached by local Native Americans selling trinket type stuff... More

Quick stop in Gallup while on a road trip and stoped at Jerry's. Local scene, Jerry even greated us and made sure we had a great experience. Thanks Jerry for making us feel welcome!

Just a little off of I-40, this tiny diner is definitely worth a side trip. Don't skip their amazing chips and salsa as a starter. Our family of 5 ordered everything ranging from tacos to "Miguel's Delight" and it was all great. Their fresh sopapillas with honey topped it all off. Well worth the trip!

This place is popular with the locals and a sprinkling of tourists. The waitress is super friendly, and immediately spotting us as the latter, she give us a quick tour of the menu and recommendations. We ordered a few of the favorites. The food was only ok. Everything was surprisingly bland, including the green chili, which had been advertised as... More

Located just a block off Route 66 in Gallup. We were pulling a 29 foot travel trailer, so we parked a couple of blocks South in the parking lot of a grocery store and walked over. Kids had nachos and chicken nuggets, they were happy! Home made salsa was AWESOME! Just the right amount of kick!! You have GOT to... More

Great food, staff and atmosphere. I asked the waitress what her favorite dish was...then I ordered it...absolutely amazing! most of the diners were local so that's always a good sign. People do come through selling their handmade goods but are very respectful if you are not interested. We got some beautiful jewelry at a fraction of the cost and I'd... More

Another great greasy spoon. Small dining room with people waiting outside (always a good sign). I was told by the locals to try the green chili. I had never had it before then and the next time I'm in Gallup I'm going to Jerry's to get it again. I had other green chili in New Mexico after that but nothing... More

What can I say bad about this place. NOTHING!! They have nice & friendly staff. The food is amazing. Every time I visit Gallup this is on my list to eat at before I leave. They have the best green chile breakfast burritos.

Friendly, bustling with locals, but very courteous staff for all the tourists. Food is reasonably priced, generous amounts and great mexican cooking. A little added touch - some of the locals pass through selling jewlery and Southwestern souvenirs. -- All very polite and courteous. A Great Stop !!
