Great Food, Great Service and as Friendly as Can Be

I eat at Jerry's everytime I am in Gallup. The stuffed sopipia is great glob of the southwest! Seasoned hamburger, guacamole (I order mine with no beans) smoothered in cheese and green chile. The staff is really friendly and most days local Siler smith's and beadworkers come thru selling their handmade items. If you go at noon you may have... More

I want to go back and try everything on the menu. This place was crowded at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Does that tell you anything?

Breakfast was barely average. Hash browns were warmed frozen, barely browned. Eggs as ordered, but appeared to be thrown on the plate. Presentation needs to be worked on.

Good food, well prepared. A little expensive. Breakfast for two was almost $30. Would have thought 20 more reasonable for two basic breakfasts and two coffees.

Love this little family run diner which serves real New Mexican food, fresh and abundant. The friendly servers know their menu well. My husband said the beans and rice are phenomenal. We like our entrees smothered.. Christmas style (half red and half green chile sauce) so we can enjoy both of these great chile sauces.

The prices for breakfast seemed high for a small town like Gallup. As a very experienced traveler, I know when to expect high prices and this place disappointed me. The breakfast was not exceptional and the green chile sauce was not very good.

Great food and staff. A HUGE tip though, is that if you have a large group of five or more people, get there extra early. Reason is, there are only two tables on either side of the entrance that can accommodate a larger group, unless you want to be split up. We've been here twice on two road trips, and... More

I admit, coming from Australia most of our experiences with mexican cuisine comes from our Mad Mex joints as well as a few small restaurants - so this being our first new mexican mexican we weren't sure what to expect. Jerry's is a small, busy, friendly restaurant. Looks like a fair few locals were there - lots of head nodding... More

We stayed overnight in Gallup and had read reviews so waited until our late arrival just to eat at Jerry's. It was a little after 8 and we knew they closed at 9. We arrived and the place was packed with locals out for dinner on Friday night. We watched the busser do an amazing job of cleaning the tables... More
