Stopped here at the suggestion of the front desk clerk. We wanted something that wasn't fast food, where we could get a drink, and relax after a long day of driving. This fulfilled all of that. The chips and salsa brought to the table are some of the best I've ever had. The salsa had a nice spicy bite. We... More

We were driving through and staying town one night. We wanted some good local Mexican food. The front desk at our hotel recommended this place and said we couldn't go wrong. It certainly was not a place we would have picked on our own, but overall we were satisfied. The food had good flavor but was not hot. Service was... More

Mexican food was fair, plus there were several Italian items on the menu. Maybe stick to one cuisine?

I ate there two nights in a row. Had the $12.95 steak and enchilada special and it was pretty good. You will walk out of there stuffed and happy. They don't pay much attention to their dated decor as you will find, but the food is good and the steak came off the grill and was only the plate in... More

Went to the Panz Alegra in Gallup for a retirement dinner tonight. Absolute worst service I have ever received!! The server spilled a plate of food all over a woman at our table and all over my jacket and my Michael Kors purse. She didn't apologize once. I asked for a manager and the woman behind the front counter refused... More

The front desk clerk at our hotel recommended this place not far from where we were staying. From looking at the outside we were not sure if we had made the right choice, but once inside we were greeted with a clean and cheerful atmosphere. We were seated in a cozy private booth and our server could not have been... More

This is an interesting dining establishment. I had dinner here after a long day of travel: It was recommended by the young lady at reception at my hotel. As is my habit, I sat and eat at the bar. The bartended started off a bit surly but that modified as we chatted. The drinks were more than adequate. Tex-Mex is... More

This was such a different experience from years past. The pork in the adovada was tough and gristly, and the red chili was flavorless. The green chili was boring. We were so disappointed.

My mom and I were looking for another restaurant that we couldn't find but came across this one instead. They were very short staffed and one of the very few places opened on a Thursday night.(Places close early in the town of Gallup.) The chips were generic, like the kind you can get at a supermarket and the salsa was... More
