Lived in Thailand seven years. Love Thai food and we are lucky to have this restaurant in Farmington.

What can I say? I used to work there, i knew all about the kitchen operation. They used MSG. Even tough they claimed they didn't used them, but they came in other forms. The kitchen was dirty inside. The cook never really wash their hands after using the restroom. It's totally gross!!!! In the afternoon, the dishwasher would come to... More

The ambiance is no indication of the wealth that is contained in the cuisine. Usually overly fluorescent bright and with worn out booths it's hard to imagine the quality of food being as superb as it is. My staples are Su Mai dumplings, Noodle rolls, Tom Ka Kai soup, Pad Ka Pao and Pad Woon Sen. All of the curries... More

They provide an extensive menu with lots of options. You can choose your level of spiciness. Good service. Clean and comfortable informal setting.

This place definitely has potential but I'm not sure if I would return unless a few things were improved. The seriously cheesy decor and fluorescent lighting is disconcerting and uncomfortable but it could be forgiven if the food made up for it. We ordered the spicy seafood combo and a coconut based Thai soup. The soup broth was creamy with... More

Good food and service. Was easy to get a table when we went late. Recommend pad Thai and sticky rice dessert.

If you are a fan of Thai cuisine, then you must try Boon's Family Thai BBQ whenever you visit Farmington, New Mexico. While the storefront may not look exotic, it is what is inside that is exciting. We were cheerfully greeted upon entering; our waiter was very attentive and friendly; we had fun while enjoying our meal. The interior of... More

I had heard of this restaurant several times, but never tried it. Finally, a member of the group I was with said," I love Thai food...let's try it." The place is a nice, smaller sized establishment with a décor that makes you want to get up and walk around to see it all. There were three tables in use when... More

What impressed me most was how fresh and high quality the vegetables were in my food that I've ordered (twice now) from Boon's. They must use high quality ingredients and have a really good selection of Thai food on their menu. Great place to eat in Farmington.

We stopped for a quick lunch but it turned out to be a long relaxing lunch hour. Being gluten intolerant and always having to choose from salads or rice from all other restaurants/fast food in the area, Boons Thai restaurant was a great treat. I will definetly be coming back for more. The server was fast and helpful. Our food... More
