Go for the lamb, stay for the lamb

Such a simple place, but the best damn lamb burritos, ever. Just get them with beans and green chile, and you are good to go! Lamb is their specialty, and New Mexico has a legacy of lamb raising. Totally off the beaten path from Santa Fe, but worth the trek. Great for larger groups, as the... read more

Angelina's is one of my favorite places in espanola. The food is always great and the service is pretty much always stellar. Every once in awhile, there is a mix up and no server gets assigned to my table, but they are generally quick to correct this. If you really want a taste of NM go here and order anything... More

Service was top notch - food was delicious. Red Chile rates A+. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.

This is a great find! Not a fancy place, but just a great place to get authentic New Mexico Cuisine! Delicious!

We were directed to Angelina's by the people at our hotel and warned that it wasn't fancy. It isn't but the food was excellent. I ordered the lamb ribs (costillas) and they were absolutely delicious; Crispy, flavourful and enough. The waitress was very friendly and accommodated me by trading the beans I was supposed to get for a bowl of... More

This restaurant serves 3 meals a day. They offer all kinds of choices, but the Mexican dishes are truly authentic Mexican food. We have been a couple of time, never disappointed and reasonably priced.

Heading to Colorado from Texas we stopped at Angelina's Restaurant for Breakfast. We each got the Breakfast Burrito with sausage. The wonderful waitress asked if we wanted Red or Green or both, we chose both and were very pleased with each. While there we asked when they stop serving breakfast, she said "11:00" then after a pause "or 12:00". On... More

I have not eaten here in about 10 years, my daughters and I went there this last Saturday for lunch. The food was wonderful, I got rolled cheese enchiladas, my girls got the burrito plate, the side bean and cheese burrito and a bowl of beans and cheese. This is truly what New Mexican food tastes like. The sopapillas were... More

On Wednesday, August 11th, 2014 I attended a birthday party for my sister-in-law at Angelina's. the party was in a side room, not on the main restaurant floor. Instead of real tables we were treated to plastic folding tables like the ones you would take camping or find at your neighbors graduation party. Nothing wrong with that by itself, but... More

Enjoyed the lamb burrito with red chile as recommended by many over the years. The 2 burritos contain dry ground lamb mixed with chopped jalapenos and other spices for a delicious taste. It was plenty of food, but the plate would have looked a little better with some rice or something more than a little parsley. I'll probably go back,... More
