Sopoillas are Very Good

The chicken enchiladas are very good. The service is fine. Not a place with an abundance of atmosphere, but he food makes up for the lack of decorations. Lots of locales. Good New Mexico menu.

Angelina's is our favorite go to restaurant in Espanola. They have excellent New Mexican food and the lamb is fantastic (from the ribs to the burger). Most of the time the service is excellent, occasionally it can be a little slow when they have large groups. They have an excellent Chicken Fried Steak with gravy, if you want an american... More

Family style resaurant serving traditional New Mexican fare. Posole and sopitas are to "die for" ! It's en route to Taos, NM... Don't overlook this friendly restaurant.

Open area seating, so not very cozy. Be sure to get sopapillas if you're offered a choice between that and tortillas. Though the sopas are a little greasy compared to tortillas. Lamb selections are great. Lamb chicharones are good, crispy chops are really good. Try a sampler of their red and green sauces.

This restaurant will fill your belly with the greatest of New Mexican plates. They also carry lamb meats from Northern New Mexico. Great red and green chile, fried bread, refried beans.

Bright, clean, many locals always are here, big room full but roomy not crowded, people are eating, great food, not just sitting and waiting.

Every time my wife and I are in Northern New Mexico we visit Angelina's Restaurant. And, early October 2015 was no exception. We went to dinner at Angelina's on October 10, 2015 for dinner. This was the best outing to Angelina's that we have had! My wife had the chicken flautas and I had the rolled enchiladas with lamb and... More

My cousin and I were sent to Angelina's by our B&B hostess. We were a little underwhelmed by the décor, which is kind of truckstop/diner, but I was thrilled to see chicos on the menu. It's rare to see this truly New Mexican dish (kind of a corn and beef soup similar to posole) served anywhere, and this version, with... More

The place isn't long on atmosphere, but it makes up for it in tasty food. We came back here three nights that we stayed in town because it was so good. I had the enchiladas, the carne adovada, and the combination plate, and found it all to be really satisfying. They don't do chips before the meal, though you can... More
