I get tired of stopping at chains so I make it a point to stop at new places when I have the option. Dandy Burger is an older, nostalgic looking place so we stopped here. I had a Dandy Burger which was a pretty good size burger. The beef was cooked perfectly and the bun was soft. They put whatever... More

The hamburgers we got were very average but mine was definitely enhanced by the addition of green chile. The fries were good.

Years ago, this was a very good place to stop when passing through Espanola but our last two visits have been really disappointing so we're done. Today, the counter service was about as bad as I've ever seen. The young lady had absolutely no interest in having a job. Our order was mangled and we watched an order sit for... More

Dandy's is ok, but very expensive. Service is much better during the day. In the evening the workers are more consumed with talking and eating rather than attending to customers. Food is ok, but ten bucks for a burger and fries ?

I have been eating at Dandy Burger my whole life...some of the items on their menu have changed, (not for the better) but the burgers are still awesome! They have gotten smaller over the years and the prices have risen, but I still find myself paying the extra to get my fix. The green chile cheese burgers are great, so... More

Dandy Burger is great! I am going there for dinner tonight. I'm not sure if it is true, but my cousin told me they get all of their Red and Green Chili from The Chimayo Chile Brothers ( http:chimayochilebros.com/shop ), they sell real New Mexico Chile Online. I got some of their Hatch Red and it was delicious!

After a long day of hiking, we stopped in at Dandy Burger about 4:00 and ordered their green chile and tostadas. Both were excellent. The tostada was on a thick corn shell curved at the edges to hold more of the yumminess inside. It was topped with delicious beans, surprisingly fresh tomatoes and nice looking cheese. The show stopper was... More
