Nice stop along the road to Taos

This place is a nice little find. It's a small local brewery that aims to please. You order at a counter where you are encouraged to sample a few brews to find the one that makes you happy! We had an IPA and a Pale Ale, both were very good. They have an excellent house made root beer too. There... read more

We stopped at the Blue Heron after our white water rafting trip with New Mexico River Adventures. It's small, but the woman working the bar was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a glass of local wine and a flight of local beer as a great ending to our day, and were able to relax for a bit before heading... More

nice place to visit and eat on your way to or from taos. we had the loose meat sandwiches and beer. Art and view of Taos mountain, then took a walk across the gorge bridge. Local artists selling wares by the bridge.

We stopped in while vacationing after spending the day rafting the Rio Grande. The Rootbeer was absolutely amazing. We followed it with a nice sampling of handcrafted beers and enjoyed them all. We noticed this is where the locals live to hang as well. A nice group if people.

Family owned, great craft beers. Live local entertainment on weekends. Rinconada location easy access along the gorge highway when your travelling between Taos and Espanola. New Tap Room in Espanola has excellent food, also entertainment on weekends.

Although this place has good food, it not the best I have ever had. I went there for the beer and wine, in this case it is some of the best.

They could not fill my Growlers. They were out of Root Beer for my son's and they could not fill my Growlers due to some back draft system, was very disappointed.

If you're in the Taos New Mexico area, make sure to stop by and sample some beer or wine at Blue Heron. I had the IPA which was a little sweeter than most I've had which was nice, it didn't pack such an overwhelming punch that many IPAs do. My husband and the Pale Ale which was par for the... More

The write ups don't mention too much about breweries/wineries on the Lower road up to Taos. They are there and er stopped here. $10 Beer Flight is the way to go. I enjoyed Ladybug IPA. If you are driving too fast you will miss it and Happy Hour is 5-7. Ours began at 3! About 20 or so minute drive... More

Second time we have stopped off at their place in Espanola. Good beers on tap and great food - especially the pizza of the day. Their location in Espanola has been open just 6 months or so and their hours have changed (1:00pm - evening).
