There are several banners posted in the restaurant promoting they won "Best of Taos." They don't say best for what, or who voted, etc. I have family that likes to go there, but I just don't get it. This is a Mexican food style restaurant, not to be confused with New Mexican food. A lot of the local immigrant Mexican... More

Been a regular hangout spot for a few years on the north side of town. Good food, and the service is always fast and top-notch.

We stopped at the nearby liquor store and asked the clerk for advice on good local food. He mentioned Guadalajara first, just down the street in a strip shopping center. It looked a little rough around the edges but we were looking for authentic. Boy, we got it. The majority of the customers appeared to be 'locals'. A two man... More

This is a local favorite. All the Northern New Mexico favorites plus tasty seafood dishes. Locally known as 'The Carwash'. Highly recommended!

You have to go and enjoy delicious Mexican food for yourself. This is a must restaurant to go to if you are coming or just passing thru Taos, New Mexico. Locals love the selections, fried ice-ream for a dessert is a perfect complement to a outstanding meal.

This was our first restaurant to visit in Taos and it was a great choice! At least for us the taste was very authentic and New Mexican. We needed kid friendly and the atmosphere inside and out on the patio was just that. A lot of families there and great food!

This restaurant won a Best of Taos award and after eating there I do not trust that award as any indication of quality. The atmosphere is plain fast-food. You order at the counter, then find a seat. We ordered chips & salsa, a chili relleno and fish tacos. The chips were cold and tasteless and the salsa little more that... More

I love the bean and cheese burritos with green chile! I also love the nachos. I really love the nachos. I really love the bean and cheese burritos too. I love these two things so much, I've never tried anything else. The burrito is a bit less expensive (under $5 for a medium which fills me up, and I'm a... More

I think people like this place cause it's popular, and because the portions are huge. My Chile Colorado was stupidly huge- too much meat, and little rice and beans. It was ok, but not tons of flavor- i prefer more heat in my food. The popularity of this place seems to contribute to the cocky ego of what seemed to... More
