Good Tex Mex food

We ate here twice during our week stay in Taos. Enjoyed the food both times. Chile rellanos, tostados, green chili enchilados were all excellent. Some of the best rice I have had. Fast friendly service. Seems to be a local favorite as it was always busy.

Finally, a place with service. Not your ordinary fare in Taos, but I guess they try harder because it's just north of Taos. Had the chicken enchiladas and a real Mexican Coke. Food was good, but a little greasy and over-priced. Was almost a five and would have been if lunch hadn't cost $15...

This is the first Mexican restaurant I tried after moving here. It's more Mexican/American but the food is good and reasonably priced. The service is excellent.

You'll be glad you stopped in for a bite - fast, large portions, authentic taste, and great prices are the hallmark for this grill. You won't find fancy dining or linen tablecloths here, but you will find a heck of a selection of true Mexican food with plenty of flavor.

Don't be fooled by the exterior of this place! It doesn't look like much, but the food is fantastic and the service was fun and friendly

Good food- I had the beef tacos and my husband likes the Azteca quesadillas. The refried beans were excellent. We had the chips, salsa and guacamole to start - definitely recommended. The ambiance is lacking. It is a big open room with fluorescent lighting, and you order at the counter.

It was the first day in Taos. We decided to go here to eat for dinner. Upon entering, we noticed all of the locals in the restaurant which is a good sign. I ordered the veggie burrito half size; it was just the right amount of food. The burrito was the best I have ever had and I'm from Texas.... More

Great food, affordable price. You'll always be asked, "Red or green?" chili sauce. You can always say, "Christmas Tree" and get both.

Tried this for the first time the other night, not really that impressed with the food! It won the Best of Taos 2015, am hoping it was just an off night. The salsa was delicious, actually the best part of the meal. Had cheese enchiladas with green chili sauce......seemed like there was about 3 pounds of cheese in two enchiladas,... More

I've been here twice in the last two weeks with two different friends. The first time I was treating, and I had bean and cheese burrito while my friend had chicken tacos. I ordered a large burrito, forgetting how absolutely huge the large are. I could have totally filled up on a medium. It was a tasty bean and cheese... More
