This small restaurant north of downtown in El Prado is excellent. The rellenos were outstanding. We were a group of 4 and tried several dishes, and all were excellent

If you're looking for great New Mexican food, decor, and service, come to Orlando's. We stopped for lunch and felt like the only tourists in a room of happy locals -- a great change from the fancier restaurant scene. The waitress was warm and professional, answering questions and making us feel right at home. The meal itself was delicious with... More

I ate here in April 2014 with my wife and daughter. All the tables were taken when we arrived but we only had to wait less than five minutes. The prices were very reasonable. I ordered Carne Adovada and was happy with that. I also enjoyed the Santa Fe ale. For those who don't want New Mexican food they did... More

My favorite time to eat here is in the summer when there is outside dining. The food, no matter what you order, is scrumptious. Inside dining is warm and cozy. Orlando's always has excellent waitstaff; fast, efficient, friendly. It's on the way from Taos to the ski valley, or coming from the north, going into Taos. Do not visit without... More

This is the place for affordable and tasty New Mexican dishes. My favorite is the taco salad with the cucumber pico. The avocado pie is good. The chile rellenos are great! Can't go wrong here...a must!

We stopped late on a Sunday night around 8pm and were promptly seated and provided with menus and drinks. I'm not a hot and spicy kinda person, but the waitress brought us samples of the chile sauce and allowed me to taste to know which one to try. I could manage the mildest of the sauces, but my fiance loved... More

Since we are coming from the north, we like to time our trip so that we can stop for lunch at Orlando's. We have tried many different things, but the flat chicken enchiladas with green chile are our favorite. The restaurant is best during the lunch hour when it has a homey feel and a family vibe.

When we arrived at 6:30, we settled in for a 30-minute wait. 10 minutes later, we were seated and ordering. Service was super speedy and friendly. Delicious and filling typical NM menu.

This is a lively casual place with a fun, funky atmosphere and decor. Our dinners were delicious and the service was great. The only slight disappointment was the guac (too bland) and chips. But overall, a great value and a fun experience.
