We loved this restaurant. I had the grilled shrimp and chili relleno combo and my husband had the chicken enchiladas. Both dishes were excellent. Colorful Mexican-style environment. Really well spiced food -- not too hot but flavorful. A charming man whom we think was Orlando made sure we in the patio were well-attended to. If we lived there, we'd be... More

We a a good meal of chile rellenos, tamales, enchiladas among other items. It was all very nicely prepared in a comfort food way. I think management took prior diners comments about service to heart because we had the best service here that we've had in Taos. .

The food was good but not the best I have ever had. It was good, not great and for me it didn't live up to my expectations.

Very authentic New Mexican food. Super reasonable prices. I did not give it a 5 star rating, because the service is slow (don't go in a hurry), and they do not make authentic mexican margaritas.

Food is good but standard. But the decor is amazing. Everything is painted in great colors and cool nick-knacks all over the place. Definitely worth a visit if in Taos.

We sat outside which was great. The host and waitstaff were nice and the environment felt super welcoming. However, I don't get why people say this food is so great? I get that it's "New Mexican" food and not "Mexican or Tex/Mex" but it just wasn't great. The flavors were bland and I had to pour salsa all over my... More

We stopped in for an early supper. The restaurant opened at 5:00 and we got there a few minutes early. The parking lot started to fill up by 4:55 and at 5:00 there was a line 10 deep. We were escorted to a table on the well sized patio and settled in to people watch. There was a clear mix... More

The patio area was well shaded and beautifully decorated. The food was delicious. Arrive early, the place fills up fast!

I'd been away from New Mexico for a number of years and was dying for good New Mexican style Mexican food. I tried several places between Taos and Albuquerque (Sadie's in Albuquerque seemed to be the most recommended by the locals I asked there, but it doesn't come close to Orlando's for quality authentic New Mexican style food) and finally... We never miss stopping here when we are in Taos. I love the stacked enchiladas any way I can get them. Always fresh. Always delicious. Remember this is New Mexico so their chili has no meat, it's just sauce - red or green or Christmas (both). Green is usually the spicier of the two. We are from Texas and a... More
