Authentic and delicious

Local Cafe with simple decor but amazing authentic food. Salsa and guacamole (homemade) that is incredible. Main entrees are rich and full of flavor. Go early as it gets crowded and wait times can be lengthy.

Pretty standard Mexican Food, decor, etc. a short (5 minute) drive from Taos Main Street. Lovely big patio. But sorry, we liked the food at 'La Cueva' better.

Orlando's exterior is bright stucco, bright umbrellas!! We requested a table outside and the entire experience was wonderful. The food and service were excellent! There were 4 of us and we had a combination plate, an enchilada plate, a burrito plate and build your own bowl. Each dish was delicious! The service was friendly and quick considering how busy they... More

Stopped in for lunch while visiting in Taos. Did not have to wait for a table but waited for service. Waiters seem to find more pleasure in visiting with each other than taking care of customers. Food was good but nothing to rave about. Beer was cold.

I've have had many meals over the years. Food and service is always consistently great. Love the green chili, but it's on the spicy side, so beware. Margaritas are very tasty too. Cannot go wrong eating here.

Ate at Orlando's twice while in Taos and the chile rellenos are the best! Service was great. Sat in the outdoor patio area both times. Charming little restaurant with good food.

Cute, funky place, but small. You might have to wait a bit, but so worth it. The salsa & sangria are great!

Lunched here yesterday.Outside seating was very pleasant. Staff not very friendly--seemed to have no interest in what they were doing. Chile relleno was quite large and tasty, but the pork tamale was a bit hard.

I look forward to eating here every time I come to Taos. I love the outdoor seating area. The chile rellenos with green are some of the best around, with a slightly crunchy-but-not-eggy coating. Also, the sides of posole and beans are very good, and they are vegetarian, for those of you who are interested. The service is generally quite... More

In my quest to find the best New Mexican food in Taos, I have tried almost all of them. This place is simply average, despite winning the Best of Taos 2015 Red Chile Award. I had a chicken chimichanga with the red chile. The chile was not spicy at all, and had a saucy taste. Only braised dark meat was... More
