Recommended by the hotel and it was a GREAT choice as the photo shows! We had the chili rellenno plate...and fajitas! Absolutely delicious! Great service...great food and delightful fire pit while we waited. They were quite busy so do prepare to wait....but well worth it!

We were given a tip by one of the staff at the lodge we stayed at to try Orlando's. I probably wouldn't have gone there without the recommendation as from the outside it's not too impressive. This is a homey, quaint little local cafe with exceptionally good New Mexican food. I would visit again.

Everything is made with the freshest ingredients. There are many choices of dishes made with local green and red chiles.

Orlando's is a great place for authentic Mexican and New Mexican cuisine. Very friendly service with a beautiful area for outdoor seating.

We had not tried Orlando's before but are glad we did, always looking for food with the local flavor. Excellent chips, salsa and guacamole followed by New Mexico style stacked cheese enchiladas. The green Chile adds just the right amount of spice to a flavorful red. We have used some of our favorite Santafe Mexican restaurants as standards when traveling... More

Orlandos is always my first stop to eat in Taos. Wonderful wonderful food. Their enchiladas are the best I have ever eaten. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Good food, great service, friendly staff. There's a nice patio, for when the weather's nice. It's a small place, so show up early for lunch and dinner, if you don't want to wait.

Orlando's makes excellent New Mexican food. I had the Los Colores, a combination of three different enchiladas, each with a different sauce. A wonderful blend of flavors. My wife had the carne adovada. Many restaurants serve chunks of pork in the adovada. Orlando's uses slices of pork. Both came with pistole and beans. The waitstaff was excellent. We will definitely... More

Orlando's is my favorite restaurant in Taos, possibly my favorite restaurant of all time! No reservations taken; get there early (6 to 6:30). Locally owned, the staff are so friendly and efficient, handling large crowds in this small restaurant effortlessly. Decor is eclectic. We eat there at least every week or two; we have never had a bad meal. Try... More
