Very good!

Breakfast was great and a good value for the price. Homemade biscuits and the omelets were stuffed full of meat and veggies. Owner and company were very friendly and joked around with us the whole time we were there. Nice experience.

This guy is personable and helpfull with tourist ideas...he has been there 24 years and knows all the spots. And he knows how to create a green chili burger...he promised it to be the best on the planet and he was close....the other meal was a chicken breast sandwich, which also recieved high praise from my better half.....great little spot... Best chicken fried steak ever! Huge servings, better split the plate! Very small seating capacity, funny cooks/owners, good service. Great food and lots of it!

The food was good but not worth the wait which was 45 minutes long before we were served. (I'm not kidding!) If the five tables are mostly full when you walk in plan on spending some time there.

My wife and I ate lunch here while traversing the Enchanted Circle. We were hungry and drove thru town to see what was available food wise. I like to check reviews out before eating somewhere, but we didn't have cell reception, so...I stopped at the gas station and asked a local what she would recommend. She named this place right... On our last day in Eagle Nest we went to D&D Café. ... WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FROM DAY ONE!!!! The food was excellent. I think because the cook is back there doing a little dancing while he is cooking and it makes the food taste better. A happy cook makes for good food. The cook also interacts... More

Eagle Nest is a small by-the-road town near Taos, near the Enchanted Cirdle. DD's has a real small town feel to it with friendly owners and servers. the hamburgers are very good, and the french fries are extraordinary. The ambiance of the town, part vacation area, part real town, is a real break from ritzy Taos or Red River. No... More

This is by far the best food in Eagle Nest! The owner, Curtis, is not only an amazing cook but also very funny and personable. His patty melt and homemade fresh French fries are the best I've ever eaten. If you stop to eat in Eagle Nest, you should give D & D Cafe a try, you won't regret it!

Great breakfast and the Spanish omelet was the best ever. Friendly service and a must visit in Eagle Nest.

We visit here often. My husband adores the eggs Benedict. The portions are generous, the food is hot, fresh and made to order. We have a cabin nearby and dine here every chance we get. Sit outside and enjoy the mountain air and sleepy main street. It doesn't get any better than D&D.
