They made our day!

We were on a road trip which took us by Deming, and we needed to eat lunch. Even though they had closed, this restaurant opened up and served us, and the food was good!

Service was friendly and fast but the food was poor, bland, and tasteless. Enchiladas in green sauce with chicken was barely edible. Burger too salty to eat. Orderd a side of sour cream to choke it down and they charged half the price of the entree for it. Sorry, nice folks but bad food.

We stopped for lunch today (5/12) and ordered the following: Me – Albondigas (I thought the soup was very tasty, but could have been a bit hotter), it came with a half a slice of lime for accoutrements and that was all… Wife – Chile rellenos (Number 11 on the menu I believe) my wife didn’t like the breading but... We have eaten here before, and it never fails to surprise us. I've had the pesole before, and I really like the carne asada tacos. For dessert they fry fresh dounuts on the spot. Definitely would recommend this place

I left Wendy's after i got zero service and came to KFC. Love their pot pies. When i entered a young man was scrambling around trying to get a couple things done. He did take the time to acknowledge my presence and a stated he would be right with me. Once he realized he wouldn't be right with me he... More

The posole is the real deal - not on the menu but always available as a special - we always stop there to eat a bowl.

I have eaten here probably four times over the past couple of year. Many locals eat here and I love the local atmosphere. They are friendly and helpful. Small town food at it's best. By the title guess what type of food? Let's just say it's the kind I like.

I love local diners and this is a great one. I got off I-10 while driving through NM and stumbled upon this place. I seemed to be the only stranger but was given a warm and friendly welcome. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Nice conversation with the waitress that is always nice when traveling alone. I will definitely... More

I stopped here on a drive through New Mexico. I always look for chili rellenos and sopapillas. This place had good reviews (somewhere else). Strictly average. The relleno sauce didn't have much flavor and there was too much batter. Sopapillas were dry.
