I had a $7.00 breakfast of chilaquitos which was very good & satisfying. Plenty of parking for a truck & trailer in the dirt lot just west of the restaurant. A local favorite. I will eat here again !

We stopped on the way back to Tucson and were looking for something more than the row of chain places along the freeway. Right there on the main street (Pine) we found El Mirador and were very pleased. Quick friendly service and the food was great. Nice spicy salsa to go with the homemade chips. We had excellent chili rellenos... More

Driving from New Mexico on Labor Day, El Mirador was one of the only Mexican restaurants open for dinner. The chiles rellenos were excellent and the price and service too.

El Mirador might just be worth looking at and not visiting if judging by their "gorditas" and no I do not mean some of the ladies that may be in the restaurant. I am referring to their shred beef gorditas which were way too greasy. I could hardly taste the meet. Also, they skimped on the cheese. Thankfully, the beans... More

My husband ordered the $20 t-bone and received three layers of flank steak covered with green sauce. He ate two bites and decided to finish my 4-year olds cheese quesadilla instead. The waitress was great, very helpful but the cooks were fighting with her near the customers. Too bad!

About the only thing you'll find in Deming is Mexican food, and this is a pretty decent choice. I had a combo plate that gave me a chance to sample a flauta, taco, cheese enchilada and tamale. The tamale was the only item I thought was sub-par, and the sauce on the tamale and enchilada was unusually spicy. I know... More

We were able to get something to go since we were heading to our campsite and wanted to get our tents up before dark. The tortillas were tender and the beans delicious. Our food was warm, even after a 45 minute drive. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but this is a place to go if you want... More

I stopped through Deming last fall by chance and ate here. It was so good I made detour to eat here again on this trip. Only down fall is no alcohol but then you can eat more food !
