The Best Mexican Food

My wife and I stopped for an overnight stay and asked the hotel for a dinner recommendation. They suggested Si Senor and we are very glad they did! On arrival, we were immediately struck by the beautiful tiling on the floor, which continued up the wall. This place was going to be... read more

My wife and I stopped for an overnight stay and asked the hotel for a dinner recommendation. They suggested Si Senor and we are very glad they did! On arrival, we were immediately struck by the beautiful tiling on the floor, which continued up the wall. This place was going to be different! On being shown to our table, we... More

These folks know how to cook everything from enchiladas to steaks with perfection. I am a native New Mexican, and I have eaten New Mexican food from all over NM, and Si Senor rates as my favorite. The food preparation methods they use make for consistently fresh and flavorful food (not kitchen buffet style as some mexican restaurants use). The... More

Ask for the jalapeno dip. I had the chile relleno (#6) for lunch and it was really good. Portion size was perfect, not too small and not too large. Friendly staff.

This is a bright clean restaurant. They do not serve alcohol. The food is tasty and inexpensive. The beans were too mushy for me. Clean bathrooms with colorful and decorative tiles in the floors and part of the wall. Ample parking and easy to find. Waitress was not very friendly.

We've lived permanently in NM about 13 years. We found Si Senor Deming on our travels when we were RV'ing. Whenever we're passing through on I-10 we HAVE to stop for lunch. It's probably been 6 years since the last time we ate here. We stopped for lunch yesterday on our way home from Las Vegas. Still rates as our... More

Each year on our way through NM we stop here and have a meal and have never been disappointed! The food is always great! The plates are enough to feed two, so we have learned to share. The staff is great and we plan on stopping there next fall.

The most important thing, as a previous reviewer pointed out is "don't let the outside put you off." Outside, very plain. Inside-very basic and absolutely spotless. (We had dinner late and half the staff was busy scrubbing and mopping the closed part of the restaurant. I had the #1 combo (also called the "Rainbow,") soft corn beef taco, carne asada,... More

'nough said... This is a good restaurant to stop at if you are on your way to Palomas, City of Rocks, or the Gila. Deming is like state side Mexico, thus you can get delicious sodas made from real cane sugar here. I would highly recommend doing so if you are not diabetic because you can taste the difference between... More

We were passing through Deming and received a recommendation to try Si Senor. Probably the best Mexican food we have ever eaten! Friendly staff and good food - we will definitely eat here again if we are ever back in Deming. Burritos and enchilada's were awesome.

Irmas is way better--but the food is good enough for a small town. Plus Irmas is right around the corner
