Prepare for a unique experience of dining in large, somewhat dark, kitchen smoke filled room, burning oil lamps on tables, dusty wild game animal mounts close by, friendly efficient waitress, 25 foot tv screen, and uniquely presented good food. The french onion soup must have a pound of cheese per bowl and would definitely recommend, the jalapeno stuffed peppers are... More

As we drove into what looked like a real "hole in the wall" place, we were pleasantly surprised with excellent food, good service, and a truly unique experience. The atmosphere was definitely country where well-worn jeans and a texas-style shirt and boots are the norm. We were a group of about 50 and it was one of the best meals... More

Returned after a year, both times with 10-20 in a group. General consensus was the food was excellent, portion sizes for two, and service faultless. The ambiance is rustic and entertaining. Overall, it was a fun and satisfying experience. You have to search for this place, but worth the effort.

This out of the way bar and grill is totally worth the 9 mile drive from Deming. We had perfect martinis and choice quality steaks. Additionally, the place is a museum of Americana.

The food here is wonderful. Everything I ate or sampled was delicious. There was just one (huge) problem, our waitress was SURLY. She acted put out by having to wait on us. They accidently put horseradish sauce on my plate (I had salmon) and it being low lit, I thought it was sour cream for my baked potato. When I... More

This is definitely worth the trip when you're in Deming. The place is unique and the food was spectacular. Their hamburgers are nearly 3/4 pound and not that frozen stuff. The reuben may be just the best you've ever tasted. We loved the place. It was a real treat to check out this local restaurant but it's not in the... More

With GPS what it is these days, the Adobe Deli is easy to find, even though it's out in the desert about ten miles or so east of Deming. This is the kind of place you tell you friends about, because it's such an experience, A one-of-kind place, full of moose heads and Kodiak bears and who knows what all.... More

Ok, first things first, preimium hamburger, best I've tasted french onion soup, cold beer, friendly waitress. And then wild stuffed animal memorabilia, fun menu, out in the middle of nowhere, refurbished ancient school house. Bottom line: lots of fun stuff to look at in an immersive environment with damn good food. Even the competition will tell you to check it... More

If there is a time where we have a rough experience I try and take a few days to cool off and think things through again before I say anything. Ok enough time. Made reservations for my anniversary as I had heard that this was a nice place to enjoy a special evening. Made reservations for 7pm and showed up... More

This out of the way place is a cool collection of stuff and real interesting menu. I tried the buffalo Burger. It was great. Carolyn had the cod it was delicious. The peanut butter chocolate cake was yummy. The owner visited our table for a few minutes very nice man with lots of history behind the collection of items all... More
