During cold weather the small dining room is warmed with a fire in the kiva fireplace (and there is one in the bar as well). The patio is open during warm weather and you can enjoy the shade of a giant cottonwood tree. This is one of my family's ultimate favorite places for brunch. Wonderful red chile sauce over perfect... We have been coming here for years and it has always been consistently excellent service and very good food with a nicely balanced menu at both Dinner and lunch. Sunday brunch is also very well done. Weather permitting, there is outside seating with a view of the Sandia Mountains. Can't go wrong here.

The highlight of our dinner was the outstanding service. We haven't had such good service in a long time. Our waitress was wonderful. Throughout little conversations during dinner we found out that she was a frequent patron of the restaurant and the owner asked her if she wanted a job. Smart business to recruit people who love the restaurant as... More

We were a group of 4 couples from Colorado visiting Corrales for the weekend. The innkeepers at the Chocolate Turtle B&B (where we were staying) recommended this restaurant, and joined us for dinner. All the meals were excellent in both flavor and presentation. I enjoyed the lobster ravioli. I'm a pastry chef, so we typically like to try the desserts,... More

Awesome wait staff and such a beautiful setting. The food is great every time I go there. The lunch menu has a great variety and the price is good given the portions.

I am so happy to have a cozy restaurant in Rio Rancho area. Summertime is the best sitting under the Cottonwoods. There are 2 lovely fireplaces inside on a cold winters evening, but be prepared to smell of smoke. The food is good and over all it is an enjoyable experience.

We stopped here for dinner on our way from the Albuquerque Sunport to our home in Los Alamos. We called about 20 minutes ahead for a table and were warmly greeted when we arrived. We ordered steaks (New York strip with gruyere mashed potatoes; filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus). Both were cooked to perfection and extremely tender,... More

Ate here last night, place was packed. Wife and I sat at the bar and had a late dinner which every part was perfect. Bartender was our waiter and he was phenomenal. Thank you

While traveling to Albuquerque on a house-hunting trip recently, two people recommended I try this restaurant, which is also listed in the October 2013 New Mexico Magazine, in a feature on Corrales, Placitas, and Bernalillo. I arrived about 6p on a Saturday evening with no reservation; the place was full of locals as well as visitors. I was graciously seated... More

This place is a diamond in the rough. The restaurant is cozy, and the menu has a good variety. Good service and good food. I will definitely be returning.
