First off, we never had the same waitress, our food was brought out cold, our waitress never came back, and a hair was found in our guest's burger bun. We felt embarrassed to have brought our guest from out of town here to have such an awful experience. We had to leave, we were utterly disgusted!

We were looking for a place to stop as we were passing thru. Meal was very good and the staff was very helpful. I had the grilled pork chops and my husband had the fried shrimp. Both were delicious. It was very clean - bathroom was very clean.

They have a good assortment of menu items. The chicken fried steak and chicken are the focal points and are very good but other choices should not be overlooked. Catfish and chicken and dumplings are great.

We pIt refer local or regional restaurants when traveling and were directed to the Cotton Patch Cafe. It is Warm, a inviting entrance - promptly taken to a nice table. The menu items are a cross section of homestyle cooking at its best. Thus were were surprised and disappointed with our choices. A dish of chicken dumplings for my wife.... More

I had the chicken fried steak and my wife had the meatloaf. Home-cooked goodness all the way. Despite being there on a Saturday night with a packed house, the order was perfect and received in a reasonable amount of time. Great wait staff, super cooks! THANKS -- we really needed a good meal after a long day of work!!

We were with a family of 5 including 3 little grand kids: 6, 4, and 2 yrs old, so 7 in all. It was busy after church, so we had to wait abut 15 minutes. The hostess was kind and seated us, making sure the grand kids were taken care of. We all ordered with asking to share one meal... More

Passing through Clovis in July. Looking for something besides fast food and found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. Waitress said they were kind of famous for their steaks. My husband and I both got the 6 oz steak. It was excellent. We both wishes we had gotten the larger one.

Cotton Patch is a good place to eat. Not a great place, but it's a good place. Too much fried food on the menu, no "real butter" - only margarine, too loud (very noisy atmosphere). The service is good and the food is good, just nothing to write home about. If you like fried food, this is your place.

We had excellent service - but the food was average. I have stopped at other Cotton Patch Cafes that had much better food. This is a good, basic café.
