Totally low key atmosphere and no frills. But food is great, plentiful and inexpensive. If you like the salsa (just a little bite), you can buy it at Albertson's grocery in 3 degrees of "heat". They also have a spice on their table to sprinkle on their tortilla chops which appeared to be a combination of salt and spices which... More

Leal's has been a local favorite for decades. The food is good (try the crispy chili relleno!) and the beer is cold. I like that the wait staff is very good, because so many of them have been there for years too. And for all you travelers that don't like the salsa too hot, Leal's will be a pleasant surprise... We needed to eat prior to a business meeting and did not have a lot of time. Though it was around noon, we were able to get in, get a booth, have our order taken, delivered and eaten in less than an hour and a half. The wait staff was not only efficient but super friendly. We had never been... More

Always a popular place especially for lunch. Their stuffed avocado is a specialty worth trying. My wife and I have each enjoyed it. The Asado de Puerco was a new one I tried and it was very tasty with just the right spice for me. Service is usually quick even with the lunch rush.

This is supposed to be a restaurant , when I asked for sour cream it came in a packet. The food was not worth going back.

Leal's has wonderful food, fast service and a relaxed atmosphere. It is my last stop before leaving Clovis and my first stop when returning home. They make it difficult to move far away.

We eat here at least once a month. Their food is Tex-Mex but very good. The crispy rellano over brisket is delicious as is the Joe Rhoades special. I love their salsa which they sell at their restaurants and at the local grocery stores.
