Oh my God, let me tell you, this place is fantastic! Visited for lunch two days in a row, which was totally worth it even though I felt my thighs expanding with each bite. Everything here is fresh and delicious (especially the tortillas). The carne asada plate is to die for! Prices are very cheap, and there is a massive... More

The food was decent. Staff very friendly. Menu in Spanish. There are several options for meat, all in Spanish, careful because 4 of them are not common. As in tongue and organ meats.

My hubby and I are brand new to Clovis, and this place came highly recommended by a co-worker. It did not disappoint. Everything was very fresh and came out rather quickly. We were worried when we first arrived because the entire menu is in Spanish, but the girl working the register was more than willing to help us out, explain... More

My husband and I were traveling thru Clovis back to Texas when we decided to try this restaurant. It was not at 1501 N Prince, we were disappointed. Back on hiway 84 I noticed the new sign of the restaurant/market, so my husband made a quick about face and turned off on a side street. It turns out La Espiga... More

I've been on the hunt for good Mexican food for almost 2 years now (joined the military two years ago). Between the huge Cinco De Mayo festival in Reno, Nv every year and having a Mexican boyfriend at the time I always had amazing down home Mexican food and haven't been able to find it again until yesterday. The four... More

The Best Mexican food in Clovis, hands down. Don't be afraid to try the tacos, choice of lengua (tongue) tripitas (tripe) and more. Everything is delicious!

We really love the food here. The service is super helpful and friendly. Don't be afraid to ask for a menu and look over it, especially if you don't speak Spanish.

We are frequent visitors here, myself and the wife. We love it and thinks it's the BEST and most authentic Mexican food in town. We're always finding an excuse to bring friends and family here too. Everything is good and when we're there early I get to eat my favorite Heuvos Rancheros.

I love the salsa, carne asada and fresh tortillas! Overall I've never had anything at La Espiga that I didn't think was very good! Nice to have something different in Mexican cuisine like the carne asada, carne adovada taco's with cilantro and lime! The chips are so fresh too!
