While visiting family in Cloudcroft, NM we decided to have lunch here. The entire experience was excellent! We had smiling service, very tasty food, and a great view while we ate. I had the green chile alfredo, which was a great twist on the classic pasta dish. Just the right amount of spice, and the portion size was very generous.... More

We like to go and stay here for special weekend trips and always have had fabulous meals. I've tried the rack of lamb and the chateau briand for two. It really adds to the ambience when they have someone playing the piano.

My wife and I arrived at 12:30 for our lunch. We had a reservation and were wetted immediately. Pleasantly service was a laid back and casual. It made for a very relaxed lunch. The food was good and the price was very reasonable. Great Wednesday afternoon delight !

Had a very simple lunch consisting of sandwich and side, which was delicious. Very good service. Beautiful historic hotel with pleasant view of pine trees.

The food is fantastic! I would recommend the Chateaubriand and the 6 course meal for 2 people (minimum). It was the best we have had. Prepared tableside for the meat. For breakfast, the eggs Benedict is great. The lodge and restaurant are one of New Mexico's hidden secrets.

Wife and I were traveling thru area and had made a reservation for Sunday dinner. We arrived earlier than expected but that proved no problem and we were seated by the windows at a very nice table. Turn of the century elegance environment set the stage for an outstanding meal. Started with the chilli rellanos for me and a sweet... More

We weren't disappointed as usual. Food and service was great. No waiting since we had reservations. They were very busy but well organized.

Our family attended a weekend long event and ate all of our meals buffet style. Each meal was prepared for families, including small children. One night our dessert was apple pie that ended up having tiny pieces of peanuts in the topping. I have never heard of having a peanut topping on apple pie. Thankfully, my son, who is highly... More

The service was great, but the food was very overpriced for what it was. I'm a vegetarian, and my friend is die-hard meat eater. There were few vegetarian options. I wound up getting the alfredo, which, for $20 dollars, should have been made with home-made pasta, but it was Barilla all the way. My friend had to tear apart her... More

On a trip to Cloudcroft The Lodge shouldn't be missed. There is a lot of history in the century old building including in Rebecca's. The views from the restaurant are terrific. Nice and varied selections on the menu with reasonable prices. Service was fast and quite friendly.
