It took 15 mins just for the drink order, then another 15 mins for food order, which I ordered chips and salsa that never came. Never a refill on drinks or just a basic courtesy to say it will be awhile. After 45 mins the food finally arrived, the hamburger was burnt and the bun was very hard. You could... More

We stopped for lunch at 12:30 on a Sunday and were seated within 5 minutes-took our order right away but warned us the wait for the food could be 30 minutes. It was 40 and a take-out order placed after us was ready first! Didn't make us too happy, BBQ sandwiches were ok . I had double the mesl with... More

This seems to be a very popular diner. It was very full on Father's Day (with the remainder of a breakfast crowd) when we stopped for lunch about 11 am. They told us they were very busy, which was true. We got our menus right away, ordered our drinks (water) and put in our order right away (1 Big Daddy... More

We come to camp often here in cloudcroft and no matter what we do up here we ALWAYS stop here for their fresh blueberry pie!!! We walk in and pick up our pie and go get some vanilla ice cream and savory the best pie! The staff is so friendly and they treat you like family. The restaurant environment is... More

We went into Big Daddy's initially one evening for dessert, which was very good. I saw that they had biscuits and gravy on the menu. The next morning I ordered biscuits and gravy and a couple of other ala carte items. I was almost speechless when they brought my food! The BIGGEST biscuits I've ever seen on a huge plate... More

On a day trip to the Lincoln Forest National Park we stopped at Big Daddy's diner. We had the best shredded barbecue sandwich we ever had. The bun was fresh and fried in butter, I had cowboy beans and my wife had potato salad. Both we like home made and fresh. This place is famous for barbecue and home cooked... More

I shared the fried chicken, a baked potato, and green beans with my young daughter. My husband had the brisket and potato salad. Both were very fresh and homemade. Whoever is in the kitchen obviously takes pride in doing things right. We also got slices of apple and blueberry pie to take with us and both were wonderful. Service was... More

Plenty of seating here. Food is good and fairly good choices. Parking is a problem. We always eat there at least once when we are in Cloudcroft

My family and I took a trip to Cloudcroft yesterday to visit some old friends and stopped at Big Daddy's for Lunch. We have a large family (11 in all) and we were greeted by a friendly staff who quickly got us to our table- a plus for a large family that sometimes has to wait at least 30 minutes... More

We stopped in for breakfast and were impressed with the service and food. My husband had biscuits and gravy and said it was the best he's had. He had a huge smile on his face throughout the meal! The food tastes fresh and made to order so it's almost like getting a meal at someone's home.
