Second time around... even better than the first!

This place is amazing!! Even though the chile relleno's are incredible I was determined to try a variety of samples on one of the combination platters... and decided on the "Platón Especial - A deluxe combination of guacamole salad, rolled cheese enchilada, pork tamale, shredded beef taco, chile... read more

Was there today, Sunday, for breakfast. The food was good, green chili was tasty and the breakfast burrito was filing and done right. The service was not that great--our server basically abandoned us after leaving the check. I had to take it up front and find someone to pay, and when she finally came out her only response was "you... More

We have dined at the Rancho numerous times, and after last night's meal, I decided I needed to review it. We arrived late as patrons and staff were drifting out to go home. Despite that, they were happy to seat us. Our server was prompt and very friendly. We were parched, and the frozen prickly pear lemonade immediately caught our... More

For an authentic Northern New Mexico Restaurant... look no further. Order the enchiladas "Stacked (not rolled) with an egg on top with blue tortillas" The sopapillas and honey are a house speciality. We were there when it was raining and it was magical... the huge bay window in the main dining room... was like watching a movie... Each dining area... More

This place is wonderful. The service was a little slow but understandable with busy crowd. We had beer and wine in bar area before a great dinner. Our choices included the beef fajita taco and traditional combination dinner with tamale and enchiladas with rice and beans. Food was very tasty. One of the better meals we had on our ten... More

I only had a salad and green chile stew thinking I would eat light... but it was delicious! My waiter was excellent, bringing me extra cups of coffee (that proved to be a perfect dessert!). Loved drinking my coffee in the relaxed garden area... I simply didn't want to leave. If you're traveling anywhere close to Chimayo, NM, you DO... More

Stopped here on the way to Wolf Creek Spring Break Ski Trip. We loved the food and service. The Chile Rellenos were excellent and the salsa was so good that I bought two jars. I consumed those in less than a week and ordered a case from their website. We will be going back and would love to stay at... More

Wonderful meal, friendly staff and servers. Charming setting on the patio with live music on a Saturday night. Everything was wonderful, from Margarita to meals. The delicious Sopapillas and honey left no room for dessert.

I was at the resturant in it's hey day, 25 years ago. This trip I was not so impressed. I had a chicken burrito and it had lots of chicken in it, but it was dry and boring.
