Went here on our 30th anniversary after visiting the Estrella del Norte winery. The winery told us about the place. Off the beaten track, which we liked, fabulous outdoor area, ability to hike some ridges behind the restaurant after eating- overall a fabulous experience. Menu is unbelievable- anything you could imagine with a Mexican food flare, great margs. Highly recommend... More

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast before mass at the Santuario. The restaurant itself is roomy and unpretentious. We were seated in the glassed-in patio, which was heated with gas heaters this time of year. My wife had the breakfast burrito, served in a sopapilla at her request. Unfortunately, although she had also requested the salsa be served... More

We stopped on our way to the Santuario and boy were we delighted with the wonderful food and the hospitality of the staff. We mentioned we didn't know what a "sopa" was and decided to order some... she prompted to bring us the dessert version akin to a doughnut and tortilla version of sopaipilla. We love this place!

Try their chili rellenos! But their salsas. Beautiful setting. The restaurant has history and charm.

This lovely restaurant is magical year round, but particularly cozy over the holidays when they have luminarias lining the roadway and parking lot! Check out their little gift shop for nice momentos in a less touristy location than Santa fe or Taos. Lovely!

The Restaurante is a favorite stop on the High Road and also popular with local people. We sat in the glassed-in room looking onto the patio. A fire burned in a large fireplace in an adjacent room by the bar. The menu includes a range of choices, and my wife and I found our meals excellent. I had the Restaurante's... More

Located in the little village of Chimayo, this great restaurant is situated in an old Adobe building. There's dining on the terraced patio, too. Wonderful atmosphere, terrific New Mexican cuisine. Very popular spot. You might want to make a reservation, particularly during Opera season.

Never sit near a door or the draft and rushing servers will drive you bananas. It can get rather loud because of there are many large tables that serve large groups next to tables of 4. We were given the only 2 person table next to the drafty door. Two other patrons were given a table of four, so I... More

We went to the church and just looked around for a while and asked about the restaurant. They said we were lucky because they open Mon - friday for the holidays. Lucky us , this was a great experience in a very small community. The enchiladas are great as well as the service. We asked for chopped jalepenos and they... More
