We ate lunch at Rancho de Chimayo Restaurante Sunday. The fall day was beautiful and the food was perfect. I had the lunch plate of Chile Rellenos. The price was less than $8.00 for the lunch plate. The relleno was crisp and light and filled perfectly with cheese. For desert, I enjoyed Flan. The taste and texture were just as... More

Don't pass this up, we chose the Picante Plate for dinner, it was spicy but not overly so. I would highly recommend this option. We liked it so much we decided to return the next night for another option and it did not disappoint either ( easy since we stayed at the B & B across the street). Don't miss... More

No better way to celebrate a birthday--family, excellent dinner and not being the birthday person. For anyone--those who live here or visit--make the trip at least once. Never disappoints.

We were frustrated as we came at 11am and thought we might get seated for lunch, but not until 11:30. It was worth the wait!! We had the tamales with both red and green chile sauce. The deep friend cheese filled jalapenos were a great appetizer. Enjoyed my margarita. Beautiful patio seating. Excellent staff.

An out of the way restaurant, but found by many people. Worth a trip for a meal. We had lunch there on a Monday, and we were surprised how crowded the restaurant was. Great food, with many options. The green chili stew is very tasty as well as spicy. (Better than the green chili stews served at most restaurants in... More

The food was very tasty and plentiful even for lunch. The atmosphere and service was excellent. Did not have to wait long to be seated. The restaurant is very nice with out door seating

My parents have frequented this restaurant on their visits to Santa Fe and I recently had the opportunity to try it for myself for lunch. I had the Carne Adovada Pequeña (marinated pork cooked in a spicy red chile caribe sauce, served with rice and posole) which is labeled on the menu as "A Rancho de Chimayó Specialty!". I have... I was introduced to this treasure many years ago on my 1st visit to New Mexico and have returned every time I am in the area. I have never been disappointed, and my guests always thank me for introducing them to the fresh cuisine. Over the years I have tried many dishes, even a special turkey dish offered one Mother's... Seems locals drive from Santa Fe to this place..It was worth the drive. Setting is in an old New Mexice farm house...great charm. Gracious host.
