Very good homemade cuisine!

This is a review from 20 Feb 2015 for a family of four. I ordered the Chicken fried Steak which included mashed, fresh (not frozen) broccoli, zucchini and other veggies. The plate was hot and was an excellent example of what CFS should be. My wife had the Udon Peanut noodles with chicken which she... read more

I've been coming here for several years. I'm not sure what happened to this place. It's looking a bit run down. The base boards are missing in places, several dings in the paint and holes in the bathroom walls. It could use some TLC. The art work is still really nice. Interesting display of bikes and pictures of the surrounding... More

Handy location for us, good food and well-priced in general. I guess we'd like to have toast with our eggs some times but maybe that's old fashioned.

It's the only place some of my parent's friends will eat at, I think it's kind of bland...nothing to write home about. Sometimes they will have interesting things on the menu. Not a bad place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and a beer. Little pricey for what you get.

We live in the area and have eaten at Greenside fairly regularly since it opened. It seems the food has gone down in quality and gotten more expensive over time. We had dinner there tonight and were very disappointed. My husband had the Monte Cristo sandwich. It was cold and soggy and the cheese was not even melted. I almost... More

There are a few decent items on the menu, but I would like to see a few more healthy choices with less processed ingredients. The more I eat out in Cedar Crest, the more I want to cook at home.

Good food, but above average price for what you might expect. The atmosphere is calm and usually quiet.

I had lunch at the Greenside Cafe last week when I was up in Cedar Crest. The day was a bit chilly, threatening rain (but I couldn't resist sitting out on the patio, looking at the mountains). Ordered the goulash to warm up; it was pretty good, but the creme breule (sp.?) for dessert was fantastic. The service was efficient... More

Brunch was terrific and the coffee was worth going there just for that! The wait staff was friendly and funny and the menu very eclectic.
