good food

This is a beyond Albuquerque and is more in the style of a diner, but the food is tasty and ample and a good place to stop if going to Sandia Peak.

Friends took us here for dinner, hoping to get some healthy faire. Menu was very average with nothing "healthy" jumping out at us.

First of all, this restaurant has an amzing feel to it. The large building inside has lots of windows and natural light creating a feel thats light and airy. The booths are very comfortable and the staff is very nice and friendly!! We got hamburgers and really I would recommend any of the toppings! Also get the homemade potato chips!... More

Breakfast was our mission yesterday. Choices of restaurants are limited in the East Mt. area. This place was a nice surprise. The restaurant is bigger than it looks from the highway. We were greeted promptly and most pleasantly and we chose to eat on the sunny patio. They have an impressive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their wine selection... More

We went to Greenside for my birthday. They used to have an excellent mussels dish, but have taken that off the menu. I settled for enchiladas, still very good. My husband got fish n chips, very good. They no longer have a full bar, beer and wine only. They do have an excellent selection of good micro-brewed beers and a... More

Thanks for the nice words - sorry you had to use such a negative title since we have never served mussels on the menu - and we have never had a full bar. We have only ever expanded in our offerings in the last 8 years in business. More

While in Cedar Crest today, the Greenside Cafe was recommended to us. We enjoyed the lunch and the service. Didn't have any, but they feature Santa Fe Brewing Company's products. There are several lunch (and breakfast) items around $7. Wasn't busy at all. Notice on the door said they have stopped serving breakfast M-Th. Hope that's not a sign of... More

Great service, great selection of brews and really good food. I will be back every time I come to this area. I had the ribeye and it was cook to perfection with just the correct side dishes. That and a cold dark beer was just what the Dr ordered. The outside view is nice too.

On the spur of the moment we decided to have lunch and The Greenside Cafe was close. We were promptly seated and our server quickly arrived. She was very friendly with a smile that just didn't quit. They have a fair selection of beers so I enjoyed a Marble stout. We placed our orders and didn't wait very long for... More

I wish we would have eaten in Madrid! The further south you go on the Trail, the fewer options. Greenside was a clean comfortable restaurant in strip mall type location. The food was good, not amazing, and was probably only a bit of a let down after the string of fabulous meals we had in Santa Fe. I had the... More

Not a lot of choices in this magnificent rural setting, but this place fills the bill. Great food, wonderful service, and huge portions. I had a chicken/bacon wrap with side salad and I ended up bringing half of the wrap home.
