Had lunch here today and the portions sizes were good for a cheap price. Service was OK, but nothing to write home about. Would go back here again. Seems to be popular with the locals.

I mostly have eaten breakfasts here..always excellent, great coffee and plenty of good food. Waitresses do well, keep cups full and are always pleasant and personable. Enough parking for about 20 trucks , I suspect for the great food actually. Not prissy but like we used to get at home ! I have had other meals as well and its... More

We were going to meet another traveling couple in Bloomfield for breakfast, on our way the the Albuquerque Balloon Festival. After a short period of research, We all settled on Sonya's Cooking, and we are glad we did. Large parking lot for RV's we were traveling in. Easy to find, last restaurant on our way out of town on Hwy.... More

A group of eight stopped here for breakfast. Local eatery with nice wait staff and good food. They took good care of us and we would go back again.

I ordered the pot roast special. It came with a salad, homemade rolls, a generous portions of mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, and very lean roast beef. Well done~

Pancakes were awesome! Chicken fried steak was very good and made in house. Lovely server said that if we had come in earlier she said the biscuits... More

Service friendly and good. Four of us waited no long than 10 minutes for our meals @ 7pm. Food was great. Lots of locals. Pancakes for 1 2 chicken fried steak dinners and a USA chili burger all great!

This restaurant is located on route 550 just south of town. It's an old fashioned family restaurant, primarily serving local people. The hostess and waitress were very friendly. I ate here twice and the food was very good diner/coffee shop type food. They have another restaurant in Farmington.
