Eating now hot out of the oven

Stuffed so papilla; beef and bean with red and green chili. I added a side of sour cream because I don care what JAMA says and sour cream is a wonderful addition to all Mexican food. Red and green chili are both delicious. Wait staff is prompt (yes, it CAN be found in New Mexico but not often) and... read more

The red chile at Pete's is some of the best we've had. The service is always fast and the wait staff are always very polite. The portions are generous for the price.

Ambience is good. Staff is very friendly. Food is average for Mexican in New Mexico. Prices are good. A place for friends and family to have a nice lunch or dinner without a hassle .

It's only 30 minutes from Albuquerque and well worth the drive if you want the best authentic New Mexican food there is! Their chile is wonderful!

I went to eat over the weekend. We were seated quickly and our drink orders were taken by someone that doest speak english. She was very nice and quick at bringing salsa and sodas. Our server was new and we could tell that he was trying really hard to be his best but that doesn't change the fact that we... More

Mexican food is their specialty and is usually good and authentic for the area. Service and atmosphere were good. We usually treat any company we have a visit there.

Next to the Harvey House Museum sits Pete's Café which has been there for over 50 years and they turn out some of the best and freshest New Mexican food. Everything is made there and nothing is frozen and brought back to life. Their salsa is just right not to bland and not to spicy, a taste treat. It is... More

Wonderful atmosphere. Tasty new Mexican food. Red chile and green. When I don't feel like cooking this is the place I go to get my favorite chile meals
