Great view of mountains

On the way of a long route, a place to halt and have a cup of tea. They claim you can watch the peak of Himalayas if you can wake up earlier in the morning. The rooms are neat and clean.

What a location this resort is in!!!....Stopping here to have a coffee is a bliss. Absolute bliss with all the fog and heavenly surrounding, and coffee. :). And yes, they did serve good coffee.

When you reach Dochula Pass it is but natural that everyone gets down to see the stupas & has coffe or tea break. Modest charges with good facility & the outskirts has such amazing view that even if your friends & other co passengers have got into the vehicle you want to spend some moments here

Best place to stop on the way to Punakha for a tea /coffee break and to freshen up. Very good view point at the top of Dochula pass. Good ambience of the hotel makes even better place to stop by.

A nice place offering hot beverages and food in really cold surroundings. What is outstanding are very nice people running it with exceptional integrity. I left my bag containing my wallet, camera and a large sum of money in the restaurant on 16th June. Reliazed it only when we had reached Punakha later in the day.I collected my bag on... More

it was a nice stop enroute from paro to wangdue. the route can be a tiring 4 - 5 hours journey. specially with the road repairs / maintenance going on. this was a nice stop on the top of the mountain. wonderful cafe. enjoyed the coffee in the cloudy space.

The food choices were very limited given the location of this resort, though the rooms and the location makes up for everything else.

After a bumpy 2 hour road trip 8am take off from Thimpu, we arrived for a pitstop and tea break and had a wonderful view of the Himalayan mountain range- although not so clear as it was snowing. The thangka shop inside the resort was made by one of the best thangka artist of Bhutan -- from $400 to upwards... More
