Stayed at mango bay for 5 nights and ate at the Sakura for 4 of them. Short walk to the restaurant , family run and the matriarch speaks very good English . Food was inexpensive and good with a wide menu choice. All the family seems to work here and they are all very obliging, the younger members are very... More

We were staying at a resort just down the road and had our first meal in Phu Quoc at Sakura based upon TA reviews. Found the food to be of a typical small vietnamese restaurant, very good to be sure, but not so much as some of the other reviewers have raved about. The service was very good and enjoyed... More

I was very much looking forward to visiting Sakura as the r reviews have been strong for a long time and we missed visiting when last on PQ 18 months ago. Overall, I was disappointed with the meal we had. If you are not an experienced user of tripadvisor reviews you may have thought you were going to have a... More

I recommend you this place if you are around there. You can have a good lunch served by a charming and talk active woman. Great choice of Vietnamese food.

We arrived early for dinner around 1800 which is recommended if you don't have a reservation or you want to eat outside. Enjoy the very authentic dishes and ask the owner for recommendation. We had the best spring rolls of our whole trip. Food is served pretty fast and highly affordable. Complete menu with wine just for 35 USD. Enjoy... More

We were staying at Mango Bay and came here a few times to get a change from the slightly over-priced food at the resort. This was a much more authentic experience food wise, and much cheaper to boot. The caramelised pork was amazing, as were the spring rolls. As was some fresh fish we had one night. Portions are generally... More

A 10-15 minute walk from Mango Bay and you arrive at what appears to be just another road side restaurant - but there the comparison stops. First surprise was "do you have a booking?" - then we knew that we had found a popular spot. The menu is broad - split into headings. The drinks are all less then half... More

We ate at Sakura twice during our stay at Chen Sea. The owner is so friendly and was lovely to our 3 children. Her food was tasty, fresh and very reasonable. Highly recommend a visit there for lunch or dinner. Menu has western options too so lots of variety.
