Food was excellent!! Such great value! Had at least one meal each day whilst staying at Mango Bay recently. Mrs Kiem was the perfect host! so ovely and interesting and filled us in on all our questions about the island. Food was great with a huge selection. I think I had the mango salad every day with every meal as... More

Don't be fooled by the simple appearance of this place. It looks like almost every other restaurant but the food is definitely outstanding. We stayed at Mango Bay and walked 5 minutes up the street. We ordered fresh veggie spring rolls, the fried fish steak, the fried shrimp with coconut milk, and sauteed mixed veg (plus a little steamed rice... More

We stayed at Mango Bay for 4 nights and had decided before we'd even got to Vietnam to try this place out 1 night due to the good reviews. We certainly weren't disappointed, we were the only people there on arrival but nonetheless Kiem made us feel very welcome with her Fluent yanky English and told us lots about the... More

Go here. A bit of a scooter ride through some rough roads and on an old landing strip from town (about 30 mins.) but worth it. Follow the signs to the Mango Bay resort. Mrs. Kim's food was awesome. I don't like fish and my husband made me try Mrs. Kim's special fish. Too bad for him cuz I ended... More

We have known Kim for many years, as we go to Phou Quoc in the winter from Canada. She has cooked at several restaurants there and her cooking was always top notch. Now she owns her own restaurant and it is perfect. My wife is a Chef and we operate a B&B so we do know something about service and... More

I was staying in Bo resort but since I am traveling alone I can't afford to spend so much money on food so I found this restaurant just a 10mins stroll from the resort. Ms Kiem was willing to bring me to the Beachclub resort on Long Island with her family's motorbike. She is so friendly, the food is really... More

We found this place on our motorbike ride from a local's tip in town. This was one of, if not the best meals we had during our 3 weeks in Vietnam. The food is so fresh and flavorful, you can tell she really knows what she's doing. I had the sweet and sour chicken which was surprisingly light and much... More

Family run restaurant that serves up authentic Vietnamese dishes at reasonable prices. As with most family operated enterprises, they do lack some service skills, but I don't mind that.
