Food was actually nice and the wines pretty good too. And overall we had a good time. But whoever designed the place needs shooting. It has tiled flooring, chairs that clash with the striped tablecloths, several pillars lined with thin wood panelling, topped off with a tiled or laminated ceiling with loads of garish seventies-style chandeliers. Nothing goes with anything... More

We dined at Tapping Shoes for our wedding anniversary. The food and the service were terrific but at the end of the day, nearly $1300 AUD for 6 people is way over-priced compared to other options in Bali.. This is probably more than you would pay for. 2 hatted restaurant in Sydney so whilst the venue, service and food were... More

My partner and I visited here for his birthday dinner with my parents and 2 family friends. (6 of us in total). We were a bit worried about the price of this place but when it came time to paying the bill we had no worries at all. For 2 entrees, 2 mains (one being waguu), a shared desert and... More

Girlfriend and I went for dinner, overall a 5/10. Positives: - terrific service, very attentive - pretty good cocktails - awesome views of the beach and Potato Head Negatives: - VERY overpriced - food is very hit and miss (you either love it or hate it) You can get a much better overall experience downstairs or somewhere else in Seminyak.

Tapping Shoes a stylish contemporary space on the first floor of Potato Head Beach Club with spectacular views over the complex and the adjacent beach - The Sunday lunch is a bargain bonanza at a very reasonable $50 with free flowing wine approx. $30 more The menu allows you to sample a very large range of dishes from the entre,... Had a spectacular Sunday brunch, which was amazing value ($550,000 IDR pp). This allowed for unlimited appetisers that were superb, one main course, cheeses, breads and several different desserts. We also opted to take the free flow drinks option at $380,000 IDR pp, which included good quality sparkling, red and white wine, three different types of mojitos and various juices. The... More

I took my fiancée here for our anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. The set up of the restaurant itself its beautiful, there is only a dozen or so tables spread far apart so as a couple you do get that alone, private, romantic atmosphere. The design is of course very French, tablet clothes, polished silver ware, elegant glasses,... More

We decided to start our Bali holiday by having Sunday brunch at Tapping Shoes. What a good decision that was! The food was of a very high standard and each delicious morsel left you wanting for more - even when you felt too full to fit in another mouthful... It's hard to say which was my favourite dish. The only... More

This is still an elegant restaurant but the menu is less adventurous than our previous experience. The menu seemed more conservative and the pesto on the snails didn't sing with freshness. The slow cooked lamb was tender but again not as flavoursome as anticipated. Perhaps just an off night, but disappointing.

The highlight of our first week in Bali was Sunday brunch at Tapping Shoes. We'd been told about the free flowing drinks package and unlimited entree selection but nothing could prepare us for how amazing this would be. We didn't really make the most of the wine or prosecco as the strawberry and passionfruit mojitos were just too good!!! Our... More
