Visited in March and it was closed. The place obviously hasn't been used for some time as it was a mess with bikes parked out front and the place looking like a dumping ground. If I recall correctly there was a lot of construction going on right next door. Website no longer exists and facebook page not updated for 10... More

We where last at this restaurant 18 months ago and the food was good. This time the food was great as was the service and setting. We started with pork belly starter we shared then a main of duck Brest and steak with mushroom then desert of cream brûlée and choc profiteroles we also had a cocktail each and the... More

We went to the French Kitchen after looking on Tripadvisor. This has usually been a successful strategy but sadly not this time. It was very quiet when we went with only one other table occupied so the atmosphere was not great. It has been described as romantic but I think it is a little jaded and on the walls it... More

Yet again we are drawn back to sample the great food offered at the French kitchen. Standouts were the vegetable soup with smokey bacon and the old fashioned tenderloin cooked to perfection. My friends had some of their old favourites and were not disappointed. The creme brûlée was again memorable but would like to see creme caramel on the menu.... More

Discovering French Kitchen in Kerobokan was a happy gastronomical experience indeed. Good food...a dinner for 3 with 3 bottles of sparkling water and 2 fruit juices..no wines. The total bill came to around US$70 including tax and service charges. Service was excellent and the ambiance was cosy. Our menu comprised:- 1. Fresh home baked bread came sitting on a bed... More

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend who list this as his favorite french restaurant in Bali. We were not disappointed. The meal we had was excellent. We had 4 starters, 4 mains and 2 deserts for the price of about USD75. This is great value for the fantastic meal we had. I would like to complement the chef... More

Well, I am a first timer at The French Kitchen. It's been recommended by my colleague, however, it's been a while until I got my chance. First impression, a light decorated bistro made you feel home. The service was good, attentive server made our light dinner felt comfortable. Friendly price compared to nearby French Restaurant and for sure with different... More

We couldn't resist going back to this place and this time, we brought two friends with us. First of all, it was nice to see that they seem to have picked up more customers from our last visit last month. Food was just as good - we tried the beef onglet steak and duck confit this time. Service was also... More

We have been a few times to the "French Kitchen". The restaurant is not heavily decorated as so many in the area now, but it is still nice enough to spent an evening. The staff is very eager to please, but not very well trained. Still, we agreed to call the service "interesting". The menu is good, but not everything... More

This place does not try to be SIP, Metis (close by) BistroT or Warisan. it is like a French bistro picked up in provincial France and droppd in Petitenget. Classic French dishes (onglet steak brilliant) and good, friendly service. even the music is great. Try a plum mohito.
