Nice but too expensive

I beleive the reason for paying €90 per person in this restaurant is mainly the attentive and careful service. But I have to say that the restaurant was almost empty, so it must be tried when full, if ever. For the rest the food was good but not unique! Meat was excellent but the soup too spicy and... read more

The degustation menus at Kura Kura are among the most amazing food I have ever eaten. The attention to detail in each plate is a sign of a masterful chef and chef Enrico would astound diners anywhere in the world. Each time I have eaten there, and it is now countless times, I always feel a little magic is involved.... More

this was one of the more expensive meals we had but certainly the best. The food was out of this world. Absolute perfection. could not fault it. As it is a hotel restaurant, they try to cover a lot of bases in terms of the menu options (Indonesian, seafood, Indian etc) but unusually they seem to manage all different types... More

Top quality food, personalized service and an excellent chef who will cook anything you want. It is not very crowded for dinner but that ensures you get undivided attention.

Having booked the Oberoi Resort starting on New Years Eve, we decided to celebrate the occasion at their signature restaurant. They were offering a nine course tasting menu with a complimentary glass of champagne. In addition, I counted at lest 4 amuse offerings. While most entrees were skillfully prepared and delightful, at lest one, an 'inside-out' venison salad underwhelmed. The... More

Stopping in for a late lunch, we had mixed feelings. The setting in the beautiful Oberoi hotel is gorgeous, an open style restaurant lots of water features and lilies, just perfect. Professional and friendly staff, attentive table service all quite what one expects of an Oberoi. The food let us down. We ordered local cuisine, not only as we enjoy... More

After a long walk along the shopping street in Seminyak we decided to have a late lunch at the Oberoi Hotel in their Kuri Kuri Restaurant. 3 New Years ago we ushered the New Year in and it was an outstanding encounter of a gourmet feast. - This time we settled for late lunch of fried noodles, sate's and prawns... We choose to book at Kura Kura because it was classified by TA as best Indian in Seminyak?????. The menu had only a few Indian dishes nicely presented and served, but nothing to write home about. On the contrary, the international menu looked very attractive so I decided to give it a try. You can choose a set of different... More

Always a pleasure to eat at the Kura Kura. The smoked salmon is sensational. Wines are way to expensive, but that is just Bali. Cocktails. Keep em coming. Amed Cloud is a must try.
