Hey. 'Had a great experience at Taco Beach and I thought it was worth a share. Some friends and I came back Movie Festival a few nights back and we were starved. It was semi-late and we were already having a good time, ie already had a few drinks. Where are you gonna go? We didn't have the budget for... More

...walked out unimpressed frankly. Babi Guling soft taco was very dry and lacked flavour. The tuna salad was awash with an odd flavoured dressing. The experience overall at nearby Lacalaca was a great deal better.

Thanks for the observsations. My apolgogies if the babi guling seemed dry. It should definitely be moist and flavorful, aromatic and savory. I hope you said something to the waitress and had it exchanged for a proper dish, if it was poorly prepared. Regarding the dressing on the seared ahi tuna salad starter on mixed lettuces w cracked pepper, the... More

As long as you do not have high expectations or have any clue how Mexican food should taste, than you may survive eating here. My burrito was terrible and the margarita was worse. The seasoning in the babi guling burrito was just not appetizing. I'm not big on writing reviews of bad experiences, but this was by far my worst meal... More

We eat here on a regular basis. We take friends here on their visits to Bali and everyone just loves it. The crispy duck or Babi guling tacos or nachos are always a favourite. The extra salsa are always the final touch. That's what makes Bobs food stand out from the rest. He gives great portions and equates to great... More

This restaurant is a little out of the way but 100% worth it. I got the #37 pulled Texas BBQ beef sandwich and oooooooh man that was great. Caramel vanilla latte smoothie was amazing and there was another smoothie my mum got which I tried. Freaking delishhhh. Just a chill place and I will definitely be headin back next visit

We ate here for lunch, I wasn't terribly hungry and had the buffalo wings and my husband had burrito with spicy Balinese chicken... I could easily have eaten a double serving of the chicken wings! They were just yummy!! My husband thought his burrito was the best Mexican he had tried before and has insisted we have to back once... More

Taco Beach never fails to impress. It's fresh and authentic every time. Best Mexican in Bali. If the restaurant is full, which it usually is, it's worth waiting to get a table.

Thanks for the great review, "always amazing" is high praise and we deeply appreciate it. We aim to amaze. It sounds like you are a frequent guest, soon we will open our "flagship" restaurant, with a hugely expanded selection of authentic, and fusion, and nouveaux Mex vegetarian cuisine - oand originals such as Steamed Salmon Tacos and Seared Ahi Tuna... We ordered a few recommended dishes from the owner and were very satisfied. The standouts were The Atomic Chili popper – I was a little concerned about the heat/spice level before trying as I just don’t cope well with heat/chilies – it was perfect in flavor and spice. The Baha brain freeze was one of the best drinks I had... More

We have eaten at taco beach grill on several occasions over the past 2 years and have always enjoyed it. Tis time I was disappointed to see that it has become very commercialised. Merchandise for sale., tourist stand out the front etc. Serivice was still prompt .butI feel it has lost it's quirkiness. Had the chilli poppers, always good and... More

Hi, we are very surprised to hear you think we missed on the pork burrito, as you can see, it's quite a minority opinion and very rare that we get a complaint about it. Maybe we made a mistake, I don't know. I'll check. The so-called "tourist stand" in front has always been there, since day 1. The material on... More

Hi and thanks for the great five star review. Indeed, it is an extensive menu such as you'd get in Los Angelese and is getting much more extensive as shortly we have a brand new menu coming out catering to vegans, etc.,and featuring many unique, original items. It will be the most unique and original Mexican food menu in within... More
