authentic balinese experience

Family run warung, great sate bbq'd over coconut coals. Took the cooking class with Eny & her husband, Wayan, which was certainly worth the experience.

Obviously we went on a bad night but I don't understand the hype about this warung? Much better elsewhere...

If you are looking for local food with hassle free setting, this is the place. However, I find that the price is on the steep side catered for foreigner tourists perhaps. But great food nonetheless!

OK, Its dingy, somewhat dirty, not air conditioned, a smokey haze drifts in from the coals that char your chicken sate - no Vue de Monde, but I love this place. The food is "traditional" and tastes amazing. I always make an effort to get to this place everything in Bali. Those interesting in a Cooking class can arrange with... More

Hands down the best meals ( we returned once we found it ) we had on holiday and the cheapest. Traditional style run by a family, open kitchen with all the fresh vegetables there to see, coal pit out the... More

The first thing I saw was the girls in the front courtyard grinding the peanuts in the huge mortar and pestle. I knew it was going to be good and it didn't disappoint. I had a delicious Balinese Fish Curry and my mate had an excellent Nasi Campur.

Love eating at this little warung. The food is always tasty and the family that runs it is lovely. Great watching them cook the food on the little bbq beside the road.

Went there with my two sons couldn't fault for a warung much better then other restaurants such as mexicola(expensive and overrated ) support these local warungs they even gave me the recipe for the satay which was been made as we left . The smoke not an issue . This is what Bali should be about

A nice change if you are in seminyak from the fancy and expensive. She cooks it for you in tasty, well proportioned serves.
