I are at Ryoshi and paid with American Express. I had not used my American Express card anywhere else. A few days later mysterious purchases started appearing - mainly from the US. I actually took my card to the cashier and paid but somehow they managed to skim my card. Be very careful!

Very good location. Good and friendly service. Good food although they could do better. we are big eaters. Be prepared to pay around usd 10 per adult. Still cheap, I think.

Very good japanese restaurant. Really good food, helpful service, reasonable price. The sushi and the Udon soup were really tasty and the places (we went in Ubud and in Seminyak) are really nice.

Cheap prices, food average.... Not top class but you're not paying for top class. Ok for a pit stop.

Did not like the chawanmushi (steamed egg) I ordered, it was too salty and a little hard on top - felt like it might have been left in the steamer for way too long or god-forbid, overnight. Cold soba with tempura I ordered was a little too mushy and overcooked. The tempura batter was okay but the prawn was tasteless.... More

Food is tasty, and good value for money, but the toilets (upstairs and downstairs) are in desperate need of renovating. Owners need to realise that an evening out isn't just about the food, but about the whole experience, including bathrooms!

Place is nice, more Japanese than Ryoshi in MBG. But upstair it bit more like jazz restaurant with bar. Sushi taste... More

There was nothing great or special about this place. We had a variety of dishes and my husband who never says right a review, said you need to write a review. Tuna carpaccio was quite bland even though it was smothered in a mayo sauce. We had a beef dish and a chicken dish in which he said it tasted... More

The sashimi was good , especially the tuna. They had a limited selection to choose from they were out of cuttle fish and squid that day. The main problems for me was the rice that they made the sushi with. It was mushy , probably local rice ...and the wasabi was sweet and had no kick to it. The miso... More
