If you ask me, the best Indi food is sold in the back of mopeds and bikes wrapped in paper (used to be banana leaves) called Nasi Bungkus, for $0.65. But the western eye might deem that unhygienic, save for the true blooded backpackers. Here comes Warung Murah, or cheap eatery. Serving most Indo flavors with a twist of the... More

I am a regular visitor to Warung Murah and it is consistently good quality and excellent value. This is one of my favourite Seminyak warungs and I can recommend to any discerning traveller wanting to experience traditional food at local prices. I have tried pretty much everything on offer, and there is a wide variety of vegetables, meats, curries, tofu,... More

This place is very popular, so the campur options are always fresh. If you're unfamiliar with Indonesian food, this is the place to go so you can try a wide variety of options (veggie, chicken, beef, fish, fried, steamed, pickled, etc.). Skip the menu and head straight for the steaming trays and window of tasty grub for a customized plate... More

Serves we're big :) . Nasi champur was very tasty and cheap. You need to ask for price first or they'll charge you whatever you look like you can afford. One day $2 next day $4 for same Nasi champur. Good friendly service and clean enough.

What seemingly looks like another knock off 'budget' restaurant actually offers some of the best tasting local delicacy that puts a smile on your face and wallet. Unbeatable price, total heads up. Highly recommended!

You cannot beat this place for flavour and value. If you want to try the local cuisine this and Warung Melati (3 shops up) are the best. Food is fresh as its always busy. Huge plate of rice, veges, chicken for $4.50 Aus. You can have beef, fish, tofu, tempe etc etc. Beer and wine available if needed.

I visited Warung Murah on numerous occasions on my first trip to Bali in 2009 and returned again with my family in 2011. On my first visit I was travelling with friends who used to live in Indonesia so to get the tick of approval from them to keep coming back again and again is a really big feat! Although... More

Tried this place on the second day of my stay and just kept going back. Very tasty, simple local food, good variety and friendly service. Highly recommended, especially if you're on a budget.
