A great place to enjoy locally sourced, freshly prepared food in a beautiful garden setting. A selection of fresh bread, homemade jams, chutneys, sweet treats and preserves are available in the farm stall. We also stock a range of local cheeses, wines & cured meats. We are 35km from Swellendam (on the Cape Town side) just off the N2. Sundays are a very popular day, so we strongly suggest that you make a reservation if you plan to visit. Please note we are closed on Tuesdays.

Great food and wine in a beautiful garden.

We were looking for a family friendly place with good food en-route to Swellendam and we found it! The food is freshly made and delicious with a changing daily menu of specials. We had the daily quiche, the fishcakes (made with yellow tail from Struisbaai!), the beer battered hake and chips, the... read more

It's like home from home. Love the fresh baked goodies. Especially the chocolate crossaints. Coffee is divine. Hot chocolate is the best I have ever had. Their burgers are delicious and filling wholesome meals.

We stopped for lunch at Stormsvlei on our return drive from Hermanus to Swellendam. Ordered 1 x Fish / Chips and 1 x Cheesburger & chips. Food well presented, and very good. Sat outside, under shady cover overlooking their very nice and peaceful garden

Set back a short distance from the N2 with a large car park. Go through the building to a back stoep in beautifully maintained gardens. It is quiet and restful (14.00hrs) and the food is excellent (see title!). Even if you're not hungry, stop off for a coffee or lemon iced tea.

Always a good bet, having an owner/master-chef in the kitchen! The fish (fresh Kabeljou) and chips today was absolutely sublime. Crispy beer-batter, perfect chips and a nice portion of garden fresh salad.

We were looking for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon on our return to CT and saw the roadside sign. It was ideal, a beautiful garden to stretch the cramped legs in whilst waiting for our freshly cooked food. The chicken lasagne was delicious. Even bought some of Steven`s strawberry jam and his last "pain au chocolat" out of... More

Thank you to Steve and Jeanne for a wonderful dining experience. This is one of our favourite places to eat, so much so that we drive from McGregor to eat there. You must try the chicken liver parfait which is divine as well as the burgers, Steve serves on a home made brioche bun which he bakes fresh daily.

We stopped for breakfast en route to Knysna from Cape Town, and were first customers in the door at 9am. Don't be deterred by the exterior, we sat outside in a lovely garden, breakfast came fast and exactly as ordered, hot and accurately cooked. Scrambled eggs were creamy, the over easy eggs were perfect, toast was homemade bread, and the... More

We sat in the garden under huge shady trees. On arrival we received punch and cheese straws and by one o' clock we were starving. First course was delectable: crusty bread with hummis, liver and snoek paté. Next a granita of apple and cinnamon was served. We ordered pear cider to drink it all down and it was equally good....
