Stopped at The Coffee shop twice in the 2 days we stayed in Prince Albert. First time was just for coffee and scones which were lovely and fresh. Second time was for a milkshake and just as we like them - thick and yummy. A very pleasant place on a hot day with the fine "mist spray" to keep you... More

The coffee shop is shaded and comfortable. We were seated quickly and managed to secure a waitress who looked after us after that. Service can be a bit slow, but its to be expected in the busy holiday season. The food was simple and fresh and Karoo specials (lamb, bootie) can be ordered.

I had a very enjoyable and relaxed breakfast at The Coffee Shop. The food was tasty and the patio seating offered a nice view of town.

Two of us had lunch recently. The venue has a good ambience, with a covered patio overlooking the main street. Whilst the food and prices were satisfactory, the service was extremely slow. It took over an hour for one drink and a light single course meal each. If you have plenty of time - no problem. If you are looking... More

What a great spot for some lunch or coffee and cake! Very friendly and helpful staff with fast service. We were at the hotel for more than one meal and left happy every time. Was nice to sit outside and watch life in the picturesque town go by slowly.

Ordered a ploughmans and what was served was a heap of bread and 4 minute slivers of cheese, 3 small slices of cold meat, very soft olives and a salad of 3 tomato halves ( little ones) and brown lettuce leaves!! We were not the only table to complain about the platter!! There is a dairy, a very good one,... More

The Coffee Shop is located in the main road in Prins Albert. It is an ideal breakfast location as it faces east and gets lovely morning sun.It is attached to a Deli that sells lovely locally made bread, jams and cured meats. The breakfast are straight forward and we enjoyed Salmon Scrambled eggs. Pricibng ranges from 4 to 7 euros... More

We popped in mid morning for a coffee and had a slice of cheesecake. Both were excellent and good value. Service was friendly and courteous. We sat inside because of the weather and it was a bit spartan...shame we couldn't have taken advantage of the verandah. If you do simple things well people will visit you.

My husband and I stopped here for afternoon tea and drinks. The service is excellent. I had carrot cake which was fresh and very flavorful, while the hubby had a waffle. He mentioned that he would have preferred it a little crispier, but overall it was fine. I would've liked to have had another meal here in order to give... More
