Stunning location. Great bar and bar staff. Incredible service. Authentic Thai food. The concession to local taste seems to be the addition of Ostrich in the meats. Worth the price and more.

Wonderful atmosphere within a unique heritage building including resident ghost. Outstanding food, microbrewery, stunning bar area or relax outside in the secluded patio.

We had wonderful evening at the Kitima. Fancy and tasty cocktails in the stylish lounge followed by a very tasty 3 course dinner. Classic Asian and also some dishes with a twist. We enjoyed everything.

People from all over Cape Town visit Katima. It's a high quality restaurant. Staff are very well trained and the food variety is fantastic. Their cocktail bar is equally as good and if they don't have your favourite drink on the menu then they will make it for you. Great spicy food with tons of variety. But book well in... More

Having dined several times in the evening at Kitima with positive experiences, I was looking forward to trying the famous Sunday buffet. We arrived at noon, opening time and were made welcome with drinks. The buffet and sushi looked most appetising. But there the enjoyment stopped as the food was cold. Spring rolls, chicken satay, cold. Noodles and Chef special,... More

Nice fusion menu. Fresh ingredients. The fresh tuna we wanted to buy was probably bought by this restaurant. The sushima was a kind of grounded mead but tasted excellent. The duck d' orange was not 100% to our expectation. Too dry not rich in taste. The deserts: creme brulee: 8; ginger and cake: we missed the ginger. Staff is very... More

We arrived without a reservation and were shown to a table in the bar area. The drinks and food were excellent and cocktails amazing. Would recommend to reserve and come dressed to impress.

We've been going to Kitima for many years. Last night was our 9th visit. The welcome was friendly and the environment familiar. They've been running a two shift system over peak season - first shift from 6 to 8pm and second from 8.30pm. We opted for 8.30pm. The cocktail was superb (mango, coriander, chili), opening up our senses. We then... More
