Beautiful, simple, with excellent food! We found this by mistake but once we sat down to a glass of Glenwood merlot , we couldn't resist the bitterballe on offering. Small venue, but stunning!

Shared platter of snacks after wine tasting. Was charged R100! couldn't believe it for two mush balls, one spring roll, a few olives, couple of corn chips and a few slivers of biltong. Couldn't afford any more so went away hungry.

This restaurant is great and has big reputation as the restaurant to go to in Franschhoek. When we were in Cape Town, two different waiters and one restaurant manager told us to try it when we told them we were going to Franschhoek. This was confirmed by the guest house we stayed at in town. Everything we tried was delicious... More

An upmarket dining out experience. Special food, great atmosphere. The prices are a little on the high side, but the whole experience is so special that it's definitely worth it. We will visit again for an anniversary or birthday. Amazing Mandela face made out of bottle corks - mesmerising!

We went for dinner and tried the 5 course tasting menu with wine, and it did not disappoint at all. The Resturant is perfect for couples, families or groups of friends and the food is spectacular. The best Resturant I have been to in South Africa!

We had a delicious and creative meal, ordered a la carte, that skillfully blended a variety of ingredients into a symphonic whole. The Dutch chef was poetry in motion, as he glided from one side of the kitchen's glass window to the other, saute pan in hand. He was a delight to watch. The wines were outstanding too, our server... This restaurant has a perfect atmosphere for couples, not a solo traveler such as myself. It is closely located to the center of town. It came well recommended by the guide who escorted me on my wine tour and by the B&B staff who booked my reservation. I ordered my appetizer of scallops, and received the wrong dish. Utterly confused,... More

Went here whilst staying in Franschhoek for a few days. We know the area well and always try new restaurants. We opted for the Tasting Menu and although there was nothing essentially bad about the food, having eaten in some of the best restaurants in the world, I'm afraid it didn't 'wow' us. Extremely small portions for all 5 courses... More
